Killian hated this woman so much. He hated it when she ignored him. She didn’t even hold him in her eyes. They looked very dull. Caden had really broken her spirit, and right now, it was only a shell of herself.
“I am going to kill you!” Killian growled. He pushed her further against the wall, as he pinned her body against his.
There was no fear in her eyes, even when she struggled to breath. Rania seemed to accept her death. She was ready for this long time ago. There was time when she wanted to kill herself, after all.
“Go ahead, kill me.”
Rania closed her eyes, she would welcome death with opened arms.
However, this reaction was not like wha
wanted, moreover, he was not that crazy enough to kill Rania right there and then.

Caden would kill him in the worse way possible, and he was not interested to know what kind of cruel method he was going to use for him, if Killian killed the son to be alpha’s favorite
thing.
Therefore, Killian threw Rania aside instead. He cursed at her and raised his hand to slap her face, but he stopped himself in time. If he slapped her, it would leave
mark on her skin,
everyone would know, and Caden would be furious that he touched his slut.
It was not worth it. Caden would be the alpha in 1

“Fuck you!” Killian spat on Rania’s face before he walked step father would make a fuss about it.
On the other hand, Rania didn’t feel any relief when Killian let her lived. This was not the life that she wanted after all.
Wiping away the spat on her face, Rania went to the toilet to clean herself, and then went out to resume her work. Of course, she was being reprimanded harshly by Rae, but she couldn’t punish her, at least not yet, until the ceremony ended.
“Here! Bring this drink to the front row, beta Alaric,” Rae said, but then she furrowed her brows, only a second later she realized that the beta was Rania’s father.
It didn’t seem appropriate to send her, but then there was no one else there.
“I will.” Rania said curtly. She didn’t care meeting with her father. He was like any other people. He was not someone important for her anymore.
The last time they talked was a few months ago when Killian was being punished by Caden, because he tried to kiss her.
Alaric only asked what happened, and that was it. there was no continuation from that, whether he punished Killian or not, Rania didn’t
care to know.
Meanwhile, the ceremony went smoothly, people cheered for the new alpha, as Caden smiled at them all.
But, the cheerful atmosphere died down almost immediately when the king stood up, and walked towards the podium, where he was going to legitimize Caden’s claim as the new alpha.
Thus was a weird feeling, but Rania didn’t know how to string it into words.
Kania jogged in the corridor, bus soon it turned into a half running, and when she reached the main hall, she yanked the door opened, and stepped in with certainly
The room was quiet, as the focus was on the king
There were around three hundred important people here, they were sitting in their respective chair, facing the erected podium, where the king was delivering his speech.
His voice rang in the huge space in the main hall, crystal clear, like the crisp of the morning. Sunlight hit his posture from the floor to the ceiling window, casting a long shadow on the white tiles floor.
And Rania’s eyes fell on him right away, the moment she entered the main hall, it was him, who made her restless. His scent hit her, it was faint, since there were hundred of other scent inside this room, but without a shadow of doubt, it was him that made Rania’s heart fluttered.
When their eyes met, Rania felt her whole world gravitated around him. She wanted nothing, but to be with him, to touch him, to kiss him. This longing created a physical pain for her, it was even harder to describe.
On the other hand, the king stopped his speech. His eyes found hers, but his expression was so hard to discern. He narrowed his eyes dangerously, watching a young woman walked toward him, standing among the sitting audience.
A loud murmur and gasp erupted in the spline, as
from the uniform that she was wearing.
they widened their eyes in surprised to see Rania. An omega. It was very obvious
“What is she doing here?!” Alaric hissed viciously. Killian was sitting with him, along with his mother and his little sister. All of their attention were on Rania, who a approached the podium with steady step.
“Stop her,” Caden said darkly to the nearby warrior. His hands were trembling slightly. He knew the look on her face. He had seen that before, and that knowledge made his whole body felt ill.

No way. This was not going to happen.
A strong feeling clutched Caden’s chest, knowing there was a threat loomed over what belonged to him.
