Divorced and Pregnant My New Life with a Billionaire Drives My Ex Crazy novel Chapter 66

Kellen snapped back to her senses and hurried over, blocking Bianca just as she tried to stand up.

Her eyes darted to Wiona’s belly, worry written all over her face. That babies meant everything. It was her only real leverage to secure a place in the Salisbury family. No way would she let anything happen to Wiona.

But letting Wiona push her around? That wasn’t going to happen either.

“Mrs. Salisbury, even if Bianca did something to Molly, you can’t just hit her,” Kellen protested. “Look, I’m holding Bianca back because you’re pregnant. But you can’t expect people to believe your side of the story just because you say so.”

Wiona held up her phone, voice steady. “I recorded everything.”

“Go ahead. Try me and see what happens.”

Bianca and Kellen both froze, panic flashing across their faces.

“Wiona, delete it!” Bianca screeched, jabbing a finger at the two maids who hovered by the door. “What are you waiting for? Take her phone!”

She couldn’t let that kind of evidence exist. No way.

Seeing them coming, Wiona stepped forward, one hand protectively cradling her stomach.

“If you really think you can take it, come and try. But once you make a scene, everyone will come running.”

Kellen’s nerves snapped. “No! Don’t hurt her stomach!”

Bianca shot Kellen a look like she’d lost her mind. “Seriously? Whose side are you on? If she loses that baby, wouldn’t you be the happiest one here?”

Kellen wanted to scream at her. Idiot.

Instead, she slapped a hand over Bianca’s mouth, switching tactics fast. “Bianca, what are you saying? That’s your brother’s child. There’s nothing inappropriate between me and Mr. Salisbury, so stop twisting things. I was just trying to help you. Don’t make this worse.”

She turned to Wiona, voice softening, almost pleading. “Mrs. Salisbury, this was just a misunderstanding. I only said those things to calm Bianca down. Please, don’t let that recording get out. It would ruin us both.”

Wiona helped Molly up, eyes cold. “So you’re worried about your own lives being ruined. But what about the people whose lives you destroy? That doesn’t matter?”

“Think about that for a change.”

Without waiting for a reply, Wiona took Molly’s hand and strode off. As they turned the corner, they ran right into Jace.

He took one look at Molly’s messy hair and Wiona’s stormy face and hurried over. “What happened?”
