Dumped My Cheating Ex. Now I'm Sleeping Next to a Billionaire CEO novel Chapter 546

Abriella stayed silent.

Will was already out of the car, walking over to stand tall beside her. He looked a little nervous, but his eyes were steady and full of quiet determination.

“Good evening, ma’am. I’m Will.”

“I really care about Abriella. I’m serious about us—I want to spend my life with her.”

“I promise I’ll take good care of her. You don’t have to worry.”

Martha didn’t even bother to look at him. Instead, she shot Abriella a sharp glare, her voice full of anger.

“I introduced you to so many rich young men, and you turned every single one down. Now you end up with… someone like this?”

“And you’ve learned to hit your own sister? The moment you move out, you think you’re all grown up, is that it?”

“Break up with him. Right now.”

Will’s expression darkened and he looked like he was about to speak, but Abriella jumped in before he could.

“Go,” she said, locking eyes with Will. “Just do as I say. Go.”

Will hesitated, worry written all over his face. But seeing how resolute she was, he reached into the car for the little bag of her medication and pressed it into her hand.

“Remember to take your meds, okay?”

He gave her one last long look before turning back to the car and driving away.

Mandy watched the car disappear around the corner, then scoffed.

“See that, Mom? That car’s worth, what, maybe thirty grand at best? He’s just a firefighter—how much money could he possibly have? If my little sister marries him, she’ll be miserable for sure.”

She hooked her arm through Martha’s and gave a sweet, sugary smile. “This time, the guy I found for her is from a billionaire family. If she can land him, she’ll be living the good life, like a real lady.”

Martha’s face softened a little. She turned to Abriella and laid down the law.

“Quit your job and move back home.”

She tossed a disgusted look at the modest office building behind Abriella. “You’re a Sullivan. How can you work in a place like this, running errands for other people?”

“This Sunday, you’re coming home.”

“So I can marry Will. And transfer my registration out.”

“They’ll find out eventually. What are you going to do then?”

“By the time they know, I’ll already be married and legally part of another family. They won’t be able to control me so easily anymore. Please, Emmy. I really need your help.”

Emmy could hear just how desperate and determined Abriella was.

After a second, she said, “Okay. I’ll help you.”

.

The weekend arrived in the blink of an eye.

Early Saturday morning, as soon as James left the house, Emmy grabbed the painting she’d bought and headed out.

She met up with Isabel downstairs and the two of them went together to meet Mr. Nelson, just like they’d planned.

They’d barely had time to chat in the private room when the door suddenly swung open.
