Dumped My Cheating Ex. Now I'm Sleeping Next to a Billionaire CEO novel Chapter 560

Emmy’s heart hammered as she watched Will storm toward the Sullivan mansion, his jaw clenched and eyes blazing.

She was scared for Abriella, but almost as worried that Will’s wild entrance would burn every last bridge with the Sullivans.

Taking a shaky breath, Emmy forced herself to think. She had to keep her head.

“I’ll go in first and check things out. If I’m just being paranoid, you guys stay put, okay?”

She couldn’t get Abriella’s stories out of her mind—the family punishments, the way one beating could leave you barely able to move.

Emmy hurried to the front door and rang the bell. The butler opened it almost right away, surprise written all over his face.

“Ms. Lincoln? You’re still here?”

She didn’t bother with small talk. “I’m waiting for Abriella. Can you see how much longer she’ll be?”

The butler sighed, his expression a mix of pity and helplessness.

“Ms. Lincoln, you should go home. Miss Abriella just got punished by the family. Now she’s been locked away. She probably won’t be allowed out for months.”

“What?” Emmy’s face went white. She didn’t even think—she just tried to push past him.

“Ms. Lincoln, you can’t go in!” the butler said, blocking her way. “Mr. Sullivan said no visitors today. Please, just leave.”

He barely got the words out before—

A deafening crash split the air.

Will kicked open the heavy iron gate and strode inside, a storm of fury and worry.

Inside the Sullivan living room, the air was thick with tension.

Dark red stains still marked the marble floor, not completely wiped away—a harsh reminder of what had just happened.

Mr. and Mrs. Sullivan sat on the sofa, faces hard and cold.

Mandy was crouched at her mother’s side, speaking softly, trying to calm her down.

Suddenly, a maid came rushing down from upstairs, panic all over her face.

“Sir, ma’am, something’s wrong!”

Mandy was the first to react, pointing and shrieking. “Dad, that’s the firefighter! That’s the guy Abriella’s been sneaking around with!”

Mrs. Sullivan’s face twisted in anger. “Someone get him out of here!”

The bodyguards moved to grab him, but Emmy rushed in right behind Will.

Her eyes locked on the blood stains on the marble, her heart dropping.

She looked up, tears burning in her eyes, her voice shaking with anger.

“Uncle, Aunt—no matter what Abriella did, she’s your daughter! How could you do this to her?”

She hurried over to the maid, desperate. “Where’s Abriella?”

The maid, clearly scared and worried, pointed upstairs.

“In… in the bedroom.”

Emmy turned to Will. “Upstairs! Third door on the right! Go, hurry!”
