Tyrone knew exactly where Quintessa wanted to go after hearing the news of Sean's death through the grapevine.
It seemed Quintessa was deeply shaken by the news, her most pressing desire probably being to see Sean's body firsthand, as they both firmly believed Sean's death wasn't a case of suicide.
Mrs. York, visibly anxious, said, “Quinn, you haven't eaten anything yet. Have something before you go, will you?”
Quintessa intended to refuse, but seeing the genuine concern etched on Mrs. York's face made it impossible to say no. She nodded in agreement, “Alright then.”
Eating without tasting, Quintessa’s mind was preoccupied with thoughts of Sean's demise.
She left the York household after a quick bite, heading out into the glaring sun around two or three in the afternoon. Tyrone, concerned for her well-being, made sure not to crank up the AC too high in the car.
Once her initial shock had subsided, Quintessa asked Tyrone, “You knew about Sean’s death, didn’t you?”
“Yes, I did.”
“You don’t believe he killed himself, do you?”
Tyrone shook his head, “Doesn’t seem like it.”
A chill passed through Quintessa’s gaze, “I think... it was Andrew.”
Upon hearing of Sean’s death, Quintessa’s thoughts immediately raced to Andrew.
The last time she saw Sean, he was clearly troubled, barely hanging on to hope for one more night, desperate to find something valuable enough to barter with.
