Chapter 205 Mommy
Saying this, she rushed forward and threw her arms around Hubert, hugging him so tightly he could barely breathe and instinctively struggled.
Bianca didn’t let go, tears streaming down her face, soaking his clothes. His struggles ceased.
“Hubert, I’m your mommy. You don’t recognize me, do you? It’s my fault. I haven’t been here for you these past few years. I’m sorry,”
Bianca’s tears seemed genuine, like a mother reunited with her lost son. Even Marilyn, watching, felt her eyes redden with emotion. This was how it should be. How could a child be separated from their mother? This was right.
Hubert’s eyes showed confusion and uncertainty, but he was too young. He had an innate longing for a mother’s love.
“Mommy?”
“Yes, I’m your mommy. Hubert, I won’t leave you again.”
“Mommy… Mommy!”
The longing for maternal love finally overcame his sense of strangeness. Hubert reached out and hugged her back. He had a mommy now! Just like Ann!
Marilyn wiped away her tears. “This is good, this is good… How can a child not have a mother? This is how it should be!”
She even took a picture and sent it to Gordon. Sneaking into the ancestral home to see Hubert had been thanks to him. Old age had softened his heart. Seeing Hubert always so alone–father distant, mother absent–and knowing his own time was limited, he had finally made the decision.

don had one condition: if Hubert didn’t accept his mother, she was to stay away. The erved as proof, and Gordon tacitly allowed Bianca’s return.
Thrilled to finally have his mommy, Hubert couldn’t resist sending a message to Ann to share his joy.
Ann saw it, her little face clouding over. She climbed off the sofa, ran to the study, found her mommy, and buried her face in her lap, sulking.
Tatiana found it amusing and pinched her cheek. “What’s wrong with our Ann? Why the long face?”

Ann wrinkled her nose. “Hubert’s mommy is back. He’s ignoring me.”
Tatiana’s expression froze. A name surfaced in her mind: Bianca. An almost uncontrollable wave of hatred washed over her.
Ann sensed it. “Mommy, what’s wrong?”
“You mean… Hubert’s mother is back?”
The little girl nodded.

Tatiana suddenly started to laugh, though the smile didn’t reach her eyes. She stroked her daughter’s cheek, saying nothing, but she went and made Ann a cake with unusual good cheer.
It was a beautiful apple–shaped cake, vividly colored and lifelike.
Ann looked at it and suddenly said, “Mommy, it’s a poison apple.”
“Hm?”
“The poison apple the witch made. Pretty, beautiful, and poisonous.” With that, she took a big bite, her face full of satisfaction.
Tatiana smiled and didn’t deny it.
Before returning, she had looked into Bianca’s situation. It hadn’t been easy, but with some money, she’d found out Bianca was confined to a private sanatorium, guarded daily by Jackson family bodyguards, like a prison. Security was too tight to get any information or do anything.
She had thought her chance was lost.
But now… the prey had left its safe cage and wandered into the wild. The hunter, waiting patiently, began to sharpen her claws.
This was perfect.
Tatia
pent some time perfecting the musical score, then prepared to go to HJ Entertainment. She had wanted to take Ann, but the little girl was mysteriously busy in her room and didn’t want to go out. Fortunately, Tatiana had just hired a reliable maid to watch Ann, so she went to the company alone.
Anna was surprised to see her. “You finished it already?”
“Mhm.”
“Ah, you should have just told me! There was no need for you to come in person.”
