Sebastian hung up the phone after a long silence.

Lillian wasn't staying at a hotel, nor was she at any of the other Mercer family properties or the Blake estate.

His voice rose in pitch. "Lillian, what's the meaning of this? We're not even divorced, and you're already moving in with another man?"

She found it strangely amusing. When she was released from prison, Sebastian hadn't bothered to ask about her food, clothing, or shelter.

He hadn't said a word when she checked into a hotel.
