292 Caroline’s Favorites
Caroline wasn’t worried that anything would happen to those food processing plants or laboratories in the next few days.
From the materials Harry had left behind, she could tell that all those facilities were managed solely by him. No one else under his command even knew their exact locations.
He rarely went there himself to avoid exposing them. Usually, he just made sure they had enough supplies, then let the staff handle everything on their own.
And now that the world was frozen solid, even the army found it difficult to venture out–let alone anyone else.
Once she organized all the resources at hand, Caroline roughly calculated the timeline for when the deep freeze would end.
It meant one thing–she had to start preparing for the great heat.
“According to my memories from my previous life, once the coldest period ends, the temperature will start to rise. After about two months, the great heat will arrive.”
Caroline frowned slightly as she scribbled on a piece of paper.
Before the great heat came, the snow and ice would gradually melt, flooding the world in a vast ocean.
That period would also become the most favorable environment for mutated creatures to evolve even further.
After sorting everything out, Caroline glanced once more at the papers on her desk, then crumpled them into a ball and tossed chem into her storage space.
nside her space, she had set up a large trash bin where she dumped most of her daily waste.
Once it filled up, she would feed the contents into the waste processor, which could turn trash into something useful.
Though sometimes, the machine had a mischievous streak.
Like last time, she had been craving bananas and oranges so badly that she’d shared some with Raven and Jet.
The bin ended up filled with banana peels and orange rinds.
Then, the waste processor spat out a banana peel–shaped sleeping bag printed with orange peel patterns.
But surprisingly, it was really warm.
When she came out of her space, she heard Denton opening the door and calling out,
“Caroline! Dinner’s ready! Come taste Tyler’s cooking!”
He grinned slyly and added, “He made your favorite–roasted chicken. I just sneaked a bite myself–oh man, it’s so tender! Even
better than mine!”
Caroline laughed and took her two little ones to join them for dinner.
Before leaving, Jet even preened his fur, standing tall on Raven’s head–time to meet Silver!

Chapter 292 Caroline’s Favorites
When Caroline stepped next door, she blinked in surprise. Oh my! Every single dish is my favorite!
10 Free Coins
Having meals with Tyler and Denton a few times before, Caroline had made her preferences obvious. She loved roasted chicken, braised short ribs, and honey–glazed pork.
They were all simple home cooked dishes, but Caroline loved the flavors.
Now, those very three dishes sat proudly in the center of the table.
There was also a simple version of spicy morcilla and bean stew. Judging by the meager ingredients, the hosts didn’t have much
left in reserve.
Even from a distance, Caroline could smell the spicy, mouthwatering aroma wafting through the air.
“Tyler’s good with spicy food, isn’t he?” Caroline said with a smile.
Denton, who was setting the dishes on the table, immediately praised Tyler. “Of course! You’ll know once you try it.”
As usual, Caroline hadn’t come empty–handed.
This time, she brought a basket of hydroponic mutant lettuce, along with her signature dipping sauce.
The moment Denton saw those fresh green leaves, his eyes practically sparkled. “Caroline! How did you know I’ve been craving greens like this? You’re the best!”
His words were as sweet as honey.
Caroline hadn’t taken vegetables from her storage space this time because this batch of hydroponic greens had just matured. They were crisp, fresh, and perfect for dipping.
Last time, they’d loved her cucumber with dipping sauce, so this round, she’d brought lettuce instead.
Just then, Denton made a “shh” gesture toward Caroline.
