Caroline had checked it earlier–there was still a huge section hidden behind the white mist, and she had no idea what surprises might lie there.

Since the spirit spring had already appeared, who knew what other miraculous functions might follow?

The end of the world was only days away, and she needed to spend the rest of her money fast.

After thinking for a while, she came up with the perfect plan to stockpile gemstones to keep upgrading the space!

She had already figured out that special stones could trigger upgrades. The first time, it was a strange gemstone, and the second time, a stone tablet from Mount Terror.

So next, she decided to head to the biggest gemstone market in the country–the emerald trading market in Doestera.

Since it was closer to Myanmar, there would be plenty of raw emerald ore there.

With that in mind, Caroline glanced at Raven beside her.

Flying would be the fastest way to get there, but she could not take Raven on a plane.

While she studied Raven, it tilted its massive head, eyes gleaming with a strangely human–like expression.

“Wait a second!”

Caroline suddenly had an idea. Maybe it could work.

This time, the appearance of the spring had counted as an upgrade.

Maybe it had something to do with the energy–rich stones under the reservoir or even the water itself.

After all, the last upgrade allowed one living being to enter the space.

So, could this one allow two? Could Raven go in too?

Raising her brows, Caroline looked at Raven.

Raven looked back in confusion.

Then, in an instant, Raven vanished from the house.

She quickly checked the space and, sure enough, there it was, standing stiffly in the unfamiliar environment, on high alert.

She tried sending herself in as well, but nothing happened.

So the space still only allowed one living being at a time.

Even so, Caroline did not feel discouraged. Just because she could not bring Raven in together now did not mean it would never be possible.

The storage space had already surprised her so many times.

She did not ask for much–just the ability for her and Raven to enter together someday.

For now, she released it back out.

Raven blinked, realizing it was home again, and when it saw Caroline grinning mischievously, it figured out she had just played a trick on it.

Huffing, Raven turned its back on her, sulking.

Caroline laughed so hard she smacked her leg. Ever since soaking in the spring water, this dog had gotten way more entertaining.

With that solved, Caroline quickly booked the earliest flight to Doestera.

After buying the ticket, she packed up a few things and got ready to head for the airport.

The airport was about an hour’s drive away, the flight was in two hours, and the trip itself would take three and a half hours.

That meant she would land by 3 p.m., head straight to the market for a round of shopping, then grab food in the evening.

Doestera was full of her favorite food.

So, she would buy as much as she could carry.

The next morning, she would hit the market again, then spend the afternoon restocking food before flying back that night.

Two days, millions of dollars–she was going all in.

After finishing her preparations, Caroline entered the space to get things ready for Raven.

She stocked up its food, snacks, meat, water, and even set up its toys, dog bed, and litter box.

She had been teaching it to use one lately, and it had already learned.

Since she was not sure if she would be able to take it out for walks during the trip, this would have to do.

Finally, she crouched in front of Raven and said, “I’m putting you in the space for two days, okay? Don’t worry, I’ll always be nearby, and whenever I can, I’ll let you out for a bit. Deal?”

Raven stared at her for a long moment. Then, almost like a person, it gave a little nod.
