Goodbye Saintess (by Edelweiss W.S.) novel Chapter 164

**The Unseen Kingdom That Followed Me Into Every Dream by Alyndra Meron Valeen**
**Chapter 164**

Jeanine, with her characteristic enthusiasm, decided to bring the entire team together for a video conference. As the screen flickered to life, I could see five or six of my dedicated employees logging in from various locations. I noticed one was joining from a bustling café where he had just wrapped up a meeting with a client, his voice slightly muffled by background chatter. Another was caught in the throes of a traffic jam, the honks and shouts of the city echoing in the background. And then there was one, humorously announcing his presence from the restroom, his tone light-hearted despite the awkwardness of the situation.

“Sorry to bother you, Mr. Grimwald! We just aren’t smart enough to solve a lot of these problems on our own…” one of them admitted, a hint of desperation in his voice.

I could sense the underlying anxiety in their words. “I think we didn’t prepare enough,” I replied, my own frustration bubbling beneath the surface. “I believed I had meticulously planned everything during our office hours, but the moment I stepped out to meet clients, they bombarded me with questions and considerations I simply hadn’t foreseen!”

“Help us, Mr. Grimwald! You’re our only hope!” another chimed in, his tone dripping with mock drama, but I could tell they were genuinely seeking guidance.

Their enthusiasm and commitment were like a warm embrace, filling my heart with gratitude. Where else could I find such a passionate and industrious group of individuals? These were the ones who toiled late into the night yet still felt the need to apologize for their struggles.

With a team like this, I had no doubt that Sleeping would soar to heights I had only dared to dream of. I would stake my reputation on it.

And as their employer, it was my responsibility to ensure they felt valued and supported.

“I’m genuinely pleased to see all of you putting in such hard work,” I said, my voice rising with conviction. “Once we navigate through this phase, each of you will be entitled to a month of paid leave! Consider it a well-deserved reward!”

The reaction was instantaneous. Cheers erupted from the screen, their excitement palpable, reminiscent of teenagers who had just discovered an endless supply of energy drinks.

“Thank you, Mr. Grimwald!” one exclaimed, nearly bouncing in his seat.

“I will work for you until the end of my life! My life is yours!” another declared, his eyes sparkling with fervor.

“Best! Boss! Ever! A month of paid leave for simply doing my best!” someone else chimed in, their joy infectious.
