He pulled me into a supply closet and shut the door behind us.

Caspian blocked the door, forcing me to face his interrogation with no escape.

“Just to spite me, you actually forgot our promise and ran off to Miami for college without telling me?”

I lifted my head.

Mustering all my courage, I opened my mouth to confront him.

“I have my own thoughts too. Why should I decide my life based on your preferences?

Caspian’s face went pale:

“Don’t say such ugly things, okay?”
