I Made $900 Trillion In 24 Hours novel Chapter 27

Betty Raven, his former sister-in-law was a spoiled brat and, for some reason, she was likewise attending Elite High School.

Betty shared the same age as Snow and was also in the same class.

Barry had completely forgotten about Betty, so he was caught off guard to encounter her in Elite High School.

“Betty,” Barry turned to face her. “It's been a while.”

Betty's eyes hardened when she saw Snow and her impressive school uniform.

“You idiot,” Betty swore, pointing her finger at Barry. “I asked you a question, didn't I? What are you doing at my school?”

Barry gestured to Snow with a wave of his hand. “It's my sister's first day in school. I came to see her off.”

Betty's eyes widened. “Huh? Is that your sister? B-But you're an E-Rank. Elite High School would never accept an E-Rank.”

Barry didn't want to waste time with this spoiled brat, but the other kids were listening and gathering around them.

He doesn't need Snow to face any form of harassment or bully just because he's an E-Rank.

“Actually, she's on a scholarship,” Barry replied. “Her sponsor promoted her rank. She's currently B-Rank250. That's fair, isn't it?”

Betty's eyes grew wide in shock. “That's impossible. How is your sister able to bag a scholarship?”

Barry lifted his shoulders. “Unlike you, Snow's a born genius. She's incredibly intelligent. It's no wonder her sponsor chose to enroll her here. So be grateful because she's going to be in the same class as you.”

Betty couldn't believe her ears. Barry was speaking to her with confidence and audacity she had never seen before.

This was unacceptable.

To attend the same class and school as her former servant's relative was unbearable.

Snow tapped Barry on his arm. “Hey, big brother, do you know this girl? She looks so mad at you. I don't like it.”

Barry smirked. “Oh her, she's the granddaughter of late madam Evelyn Raven. You could say my former sister-in-law.”

Snow had only met madam Evelyn and Laura once. She refused to acknowledge the Raven family because of the manner they treated Barry.

This was the first time Snow was meeting Betty Raven, and she hated Betty's first impression.

“Even so,” Snow said firmly. “I don't like the manner she's speaking to you. You're seven years older than her. She might be the same age as me. She has no right to speak to you in that manner.”

“And What are you going to do about it, huh?” Betty barked, fuming with rage. “Barry was once my servant, so I have every right to talk to him however I please.”

“Well, he's not anymore,” Snow fired back. “If you want a servant you can order around, I'm sure your family is rich enough to afford one. Take out your frustration on them and leave my brother alone.”

Barry's eyes widened at the audacity of Snow. He had never seen this side of her before.

The other kids were smitten with Snow at how she stood up for Barry against Betty.

A loud murmur spread among them.

Snow grabbed Barry's hand and dragged him away. “Come on, big brother. We have better things to do than deal with her.”

Barry didn't argue. He allowed Snow to lead him distantly from Betty.
