Inferno Demon Riders MC: My Five Obsessed Bullies novel Chapter 122

Kylian/Karma’s P.O.V.

~Three days later ~

“Well, Officer Jones is dead,” CG said right after he walked into my office.

“Great,” I grunted.

“They probably know we were involved by now,” Psy.cho said.

“Things are gonna trickle down,” CG muttered. “Either Quinn or SD is gonna be after us. Maybe both.”

“Luca is on his way here now that we don’t need to figure out what’s going on inside that fu.cked up church,” I said. “Once our guys get back and Luca gets here with a team, I want the place on lockdown. No one goes anywhere.”

“Bonnie’s not gonna like that,” CG commented. “She’s already been complaining about being cooped up here as it is.”

“She ain’t gonna have a choice,” I grumbled.

“Guess it’s a good thing Nova and Diesel are coming home today,” Psy.cho said.

“How’s Nova and the baby?” I asked.

“No complications,” Dragon said. “Their firstborn son was healthy as could be. They named him Banks D. Miller.”

I gave him a single nod.

“Call Diesel and fill him in on what’s goin‘ on,” I said. “He needs to get back here quickly. Send Slider and Joker out as backup.”

“Got it,” Dragon said before walking out of the room, phone in hand.

“Johnny and Dev’s patch–in parties are this weekend too,” Psy.cho reminded me.

“Thought the ol‘ ladies are handlin‘ that?” I asked.

Psy.cho snorted, but it sounded annoyed.

“I asked them too, and you wanna know what I was told today?” he asked, but kept going anyway. “That Bly took over the entire thing. She called your ma for help and delegated tasks to the ol‘ ladies, club girls, and the brothers. Said she’s technically the first lady or some sh.it, and she will be handling these kinds of things in the future.”

I rolled my eyes, trying not to let my pride swell.

“She’s trying to prove a point,” CG mumbled.

“Yeah, that she’s just as strong as us and we should let her handle Havoc’s punishment,” Psy.cho said.

“I haven’t decided yet,” I grunted.

“The mother chapter contact you again?” my VP asked.

I sighed and ran a hand through my hair. Our mother chapter in Texas caught wind that we had our enforcer locked up. Prez Rex called me to ask what the hell was going on. I told him it was personal, nothing to do with the club. He told me if it was personal to me, as prez, it had everything to do with the Inferno’s Demon Riders. Told me to handle it the right way and give him an update within the next week.

“No,” I replied. “And I still ain’t found out who told him. I know someone had to. Rex knew it for a fact when he called me. There was no question about it.”

“Claw?” CG asked.

Psy.cho shook his head.

“Been havin‘ the brothers take turns tailing him,” he said. “Claw’s an a.sshole, it’s no wonder why another chapter wanted to get rid of him, but he ain’t been up to nothing. He barely even leaves. I don’t think he cares all that much, honestly. Slider even went through his phone when he was sloshed last night. Nothing out of the ordinary. Guy’s a total di.ckface to women. That’s about it.”

“We sure though?” CG asked. “He could just be good at hiding sh.it.”

I shook my head.

“I called the chapter he came from,” I told them. “They said he just had a tendency to start fights. Also got into it a lot with another brother ‘cause he kept lookin‘ at his ol‘ lady. The prez said he was trustworthy, just stupid.”

“Okay, well who else would go tattle on us?” Psy.cho asked.

“You don’t think it was Everly or Alex, do you?” CG asked.

“How would they even know?” Psy.cho asked. “We sent Snapper to another chapter as soon as the princesses were gone. Who would even tell them?”

“Tusk maybe?” CG suggested. “Maybe he let it slip to Everly.”

I shook my head.

“He ain’t talkin‘ to her right now,” I said. “Think he’s still strugglin‘ on what to say. This sh.it with Havoc is just makin‘ him feel worse. Like he failed as a father.”

“Okay, who else then?” Psy.cho asked.

“Ya know, I keep thinkin‘,” I said. “How did anyone even find out Shelia helped me? I mean, we kept it quiet, secret. She’s a damn cop, she should know how to cover her tracks.”

“Maybe she let something slip,” CG offered.

“Or maybe we have a rat that’s playin‘ all kinds of fu.ckin‘ sides,” I muttered.

“What makes you say that?” Psy.cho asked.

“Just a hunch,” I mumbled.

“Okay, well, the four of us keep an eye out,” CG said. “We go on lock–down, and we keep Blythe as close as possible.”

I blew out a breath at that last part.

“She still ignorin‘ us?” I asked.

“Dragon tries every single day,” CG mumbled, not meeting my eyes.

“She’s pissed at us,” Psy.cho added.

“She’ll get over it,” I said.

“Well, that really depends on what you do, doesn’t it Karma?” Psy.cho replied.

I sighed again. All this stress is eating away at me. At all of us, actually. Psy.cho holds it together the best, but we’re all crumbling. CG is just a big ball of anger and frustration. Dragon is so sad that he barely even talks. I can’t sleep without Bly next to me. Psy.cho’s angry, but he seems to be the only one hopeful that Bly will forgive us. As much as I say she will, I’m really not sure.

The mother chapter wants me to punish Havoc. The punishment has to fit the crime. No one outside the six of us knows what happened that night. I could use that to my advantage. I could tell Rex that we all share an ol‘ lady and that Havoc pi.ssed her off. Maybe I could say he cheated and I over–reacted or something. Then I could give Havoc to Blythe. I could give her what she wants. I could fix all of this.

But will that work for the rest of us? I somehow doubt it. The moment that Havoc comes out of that basement… everything will be different. He’s no longer our brother. And that sh.it hurts. How are we supposed to get over what he did? How are we supposed to trust him again?

“You have to do something, Karma,” Psy.cho said.

“I think we should beat him to a pulp and dump him somewhere,” CG said. “Tell him never to come back again. Bly gets her wish that he doesn’t die. We don’t have to see his face ever again.”

“He made a mistake, Psy.cho said. “One he’s sick with himself over. You two saw how he was after he found out the truth. He has to live with that guilt for the rest of his life.”

“And that makes it all okay?” CG asked, incredulously. “He made his choices, and they weren’t with any of us in mind!”

“It don’t make it okay, but it’s the truth. No matter what we do to him… can’t be worse than what he’s doing to himself, Psy cho said. “Plus, he tried to come clean. I’m guessing. anyway. He’d been tryina talk to you for weeks, Karma. You kept blowing him off, and he was just spiraling more and more. He tried to tell Bly that first night they fucked too, but we wouldn’t let him. He tried, eventually, to come clean. He’s not a bad person, he just… made some shitty mistakes.”

“Shi.tty mistakes that caused a lot of fucking harm, CG stated.

Psy.cho sighed as he stood up.

“You both know I’m right,” he said. “You really think Bly would act the way she does if she didn’t feel the same? You think she’d fight for his life, push the rest of us out of her life, if she really felt that way?”

“She said she wants to punish him,” I mumbled stupidly.

“Yeah, and knowing our girl the way she is now… I think whatever she has in mind would be a lot better than killing him,” he said. “You think Bly ain’t gonna make him pay for all that sh.it? And the best part? We’ll not only get to watch it all, but she’ll let the rest of us back in.”

“Stop tryina convince me,” I grutned.

Psy cho snorted as he walked to the door.

“Okay, if I ain’t doing a good job, then maybe you should try talking to Blythe,” he said. “Go ahead. See what Dragon and I go through every day. Ya know, since you two haven’t tried anything past looking at her during meals.”

“She already said she won’t talk to any of us,” CG grumbled.

“Oh, she’ll talk,” Psy.cho said, amused. “She’ll be pi.ssed and not at all cuddly and cute like usual, but she’ll talk.”

Then he walked out, closing the door behind him. I sighed yet again, placing my face in my hands. All this sh.it is too much.

“As much as I hate to admit it… What if we need him?” CG asked.

“For what?” I replied.

“If SD or Quinn come after us, which I’m sure they will, we’ll need Havoc. He’s our enforcer. We need people we can trust,” he said.

“Trust? Thought we didn’t trust him?” I spat. “That’s the whole reason he’s locked up right now.”

“Yeah, I don’t trust him to not lie to my face again, or care about my mental health, but I trust him to have our backs in a war,” he said.

“I need to know that I can trust him with Blythe,” I said.

“As much as I hate to say it… I think that he would cut off his own di.ck before ever hurting. Blythe again,” CG mumbled.

I had to agree. Despite everything… Once Havoc found out the truth, he literally threw his guts up. He cares about Bly more than anything. More than himself. At least, now he does.

“We can make him her bodyguard, her little lapdog,” I suggested.

“How fu.cking unfair,” CG muttered.

“I can tell him no se.x,” I added. “If he even touches her, looks at her, fantasizes about her… I’ll kill him.”

“Yeah, ‘cause Bly’s gonna let that fly.” He grumbled.

“One more day,” I said. “Just let me think about it for one more day.”

But really, how am I supposed to make a decision like this so easily?
