Inferno Demon Riders MC: My Five Obsessed Bullies novel Chapter 130

Blythe’s P.O.V.

I couldn’t fall back asleep after Ps.ycho and Dragon left. They had woken me before kissing me. I heard that they had church and were hoping that they would finally get a decision about Havoc. Which meant that my nerves were shot. There was no way I was getting any more sleep.

So, I got up and put my clothes on from last night. I was planning on sneaking out and going home. Maybe I could try to sleep there. At least I’d be in my room where it’s peaceful. I can’t stay surrounded by their scents anymore. It’s making me want to forgive them. And I need to stay strong. For Havoc.

I had just stepped out of Psy.cho’s room and turned the corner when I ran into a hard chest. Arms shot out to keep me upright. I looked up to see that it was Joker.

“Sorry, Bly,” he apologized.

“No, I’m sorry,” I replied politely. “Wait, shouldn’t you be in church?”

Joker smirked at me.

“Had something to do for Karma,” he said. “I’m all caught up on sh.it though.”

“You are?” I asked, perhaps a little too enthusiastically.

Joker gave me a look that definitely said there was no way he was telling me anything. I’d find out on my own eventually. And I understood. Club rules and all.

Speaking of club rules and all…

So, you heading to Glitter’s room?” I asked casually.

“Maybe,” Joker replied with a nonchalant shrug. “She’s probably sleeping, but she’s so cuddly in the morning. A man has needs ya know. She’s the only club girl that will let me be the little spoon.”

I snorted at him. It’s no wonder they call him Joker. He’s a big goofball. A little menacing at times, but mostly just a jokster.

“She’s a wonderful person,” I commented.

“She is,” he agreed. “Too kind to be a club sl.ut.”

I winced at his words.

“Don’t call her that,” I said softly.

“Why? That’s what she is,” he said casually. “There’s even a chance she has another brother in her bed now. I might not fit. We’re all pretty bulky.”

I could tell that he was trying to joke around, but I could also tell it was a defense mechanism. There was the slightest edge in his voice. He was good at hiding it, but apparently not from me.

“Does it really matter that much to you that she started out as a club girl?” I blurted.

“What do you mean? That’s what she is,” he said.

“She could be more,” I replied with a shrug.

“Like a doctor?” He teased, making me laugh lightly.

“If she wanted, but that’s not what I mean,” I said.

Joker’s smile faltered just a little and he averted his eyes.

“She wants to own a bakery,” he told me. “Can you believe that? A wh.ore wanting to own a cute little bakery like some fairy tale. It’s comical.”

“Is it?” I asked. Mostly because his tone grew hard. Didn’t really sound like he thought it was funny. Or maybe he did and that pi.ssed him off?

“Isn’t it?” he retorted.

I looked away for a moment with wide eyes, trying to wrap my head around his attitude.

“I don’t see how being a club girl makes her any less of a person,” I answered honestly. “I know how Glitter ended up here, but I can tell that this isn’t what she wanted. At least, > isn’t what she wants now.”

And what does she want now?” he asked rather snidely.

“I think it’s pretty obvious what you both want,” I said factually.

Joker stared at me for a moment before shaking his head.

“Club girls don’t become ol‘ ladies,” he muttered.

“Says who?” I asked.

“It’s not a rule, it’s just… It makes ya look stupid. Like you got trapped or something,” he said, looking defeated.

“Trapped?” I asked flatly, raising my brow.

“All of my brothers have had her,” he mumbled, like it was some kind of excuse.

“Ya know, I don’t understand a lot about the club’s stupid rules, but I definitely don’t get this one at all,” I told him. “I mean, you guys are bikers. Who gives a flying fuck about your relationships? Who cares if you fall in love with a club girl as long as she’s kind to you? I mean, for fu.ck’s sake, you guys do the most shady sh.it and live off of loyalty. But you get all shy and afraid when you fall for the club hooker?”

Joker didn’t have anything to say to that, apparently. After a moment of silence, I stepped closer to him. His eyes met mine, and I could see the conflict there.

“Glitter is a great person and I feel sorry for you,” I said honestly. “You’re going to give up and miss out on this great girl because you’re too afraid your brothers will tease you. And Glitter… she’s gonna get her hopes up over and over again, because she’s just too sweet for her own good. I hope you’re prepared to deal with the fallout of that.”

“What’s that supposed to mean?” He bit out, narrowing his eyes at me.

“It means that I know guys like you,” I said. “I grew up around the club. You’re gonna tip–toe around making a decision with her, drag her along while using the excuse of her doing her job to keep her at arm’s length. The more you push her away and pull her close like that, the more she’s going to lose herself. The heart can only take so much. One day, you’ll either get an ol‘ lady, and she’ll be crushed, or… you’ll crush her simply by leading her on. You prepared to do that to her? To crush that light inside her? ‘Cause that’s where you’re headed.”

“You don’t know that,” he mumbled.

“You’re right, I don’t,” I agreed. “But I’ve seen the two of you with each other enough to see that you two have real feelings for each other. It’s very sad that you pledged your life to a club that you think wouldn’t be happy if you found love. And all because you consider her used goods.”

“I don’t think of her that way at all,” he rushed out.

I only shrugged before walking around him.

“Just know that if you decide to claim her… I’ll have your back,” I told him, throwing him a wink. “And I’m the first lady, so no one will say sh.it. And Joker… if they were your real brothers… they’d be happy that you found love with a great girl, no matter her past. And they’d respect her the way every ol‘ lady deserves.”

Joker gave me a small smile.

“Thanks Bly,” he said. “It’s no wonder why our leading officers of the club are so obsessed with you.”

1 gave him a wink before making my way to the back door.

I made my way home. It’s pretty early, but all the brothers are in church. Everyone else must be still sleeping or doing their own thing. When I got home, the door was unlocked but no one was home. Not unsual.

I went to my room and closed the door. I pulled out a T–shirt and a pair of pajama shorts, threw them on my bed, and went to the bathroom. I turned the shower on and stripped down. I looked at myself in the mirror, my eyes going wide.

Holy, Fu.cking. Sh.it. What the fuck were those two thinking!? I’m literally freaking covered in dark spots. I look like I got beat up. Jesus, I knew Dragon was going pretty hard, but I didn’t think they did this to me. What the hell was wrong with them?

Oh yeah, me. The fact I hadn’t let them even breathe the same air as me for days. I told them I wanted them rough last night too. I should have known they were going to do something like that.

With a sigh, I finally got into the shower. I let the hot water wash over me, soothing my body. My thoughts were consumed with last night. I wonder how Karma and CG liked those pics. I probably spent a bit more time in the shower than I needed to, but I just wanted to soak up all that heat.

I patted myself dry and wrapped the towel around my body. I grabbed the second one to dry my hair. I opened my bathroom door, surprised that Butter wasn’t at my feet. He’s a weird little cat, loves the steam from the bathroom after a hot shower. Although, this is the biggest place he’s ever lived in. Maybe he’s sunbathing upstairs or something.

walked into my room, still patting my hair. I was about to take my towel off and grab my otion when I noticed someone sitting on my bed. My eyes snapped up to see that it was Havoc. All the air left my lungs as I looked at him. Butter was rubbing himself all over the man, and Havoc was petting him. It was cute. And that was the only cute thing about the scene before me.

I stopped in my tracks, my eyes scanning over his body. His head is down, looking at Butter. His hair is hanging in the way of me seeing his face. The rest of him though… He was fully clothed in jeans and a black T–shirt, hiding most of his body, but his knuckles were bruised. There were bruises poking out of the sleeve of his shirt, and a few down his arms.

My hands started to shake as I took a step closer to him. Finally, he looked up at me. A gasp escaped me and I dropped the towel I was using to dry my hair. My hand as tears filled my eyes.

Oh, Karma… what did you do?
