Inferno Demon Riders MC: My Five Obsessed Bullies novel Chapter 131

Blythe’s P.O.V.

“Hey,” Havoc said, his voice barely above a whisper. He sounded strained, like it was difficult to push the word out. And I could see why.

Havoc looks… awful. And that’s saying something. I’ve seen him after fights plenty of times. But this…

They beat the sh.it out of him. His entire face is black, blue, and purple. His left eye is

swollen shut, and looks very painful. There’s a large bump on his forehead near the right side. The left side of his jaw is swollen. There’s even bruises around his neck. Not like he was strangled… just beaten half to death.

“Oh my god, Havoc…” I whispered, my voice cracking as I moved to sit beside him.

I reached my hands out, but hesitated. I wasn’t sure if touching him would hurt. Butter jumped down, giving us a bit of space. Havoc didn’t look at me though, he just looked straight ahead.

“You… You can’t call me that anymore,” he said in that strained voice.

“What why?” I asked.

“I… It’s not my name anymore,” he told me, and I finally noticed that he was wearing a different cut. A blank one. Except for the club logo and the word prospect patched on the front.

“He… stripped you of your name?” I asked.

ripped me of my rank. I had to go back to square one,” he said.

s not fair!” I shouted, ready to jump to my feet and march my a.ss straight to Karma. Havoc grabbed my arm before I could though. “Don’t you try to stop me!”

“Listen to me,” he said calmly, too calmly. “Just listen, I gotta tell you the situation, and then you can do whatever you want.”

“Fine,” I replied angrily.

“I’m stripped back down to prospect and I have to be your lapdog,” he told me. “Karma placed me in your hands, but there are rules. Can’t speak unless you tell me to. Can’t leave your side unless you tell me to. Can’t touch you even if you tell me to. And even though I belong to you like a pet, I answer to Karma first.”

I blinked at him, trying to control my anger.

“I’m allowed to tell you the new rules, but that’s all I can say,” he stated, tensing a bit.

“So, you can’t even… apologize to me? Try to explain yourself again? We can’t talk about everything?” I asked incredulously.

“We can if you want to,” he replied.

“And what do you want?” I asked.

Havoc hung his head and closed his eyes. He didn’t reply. I waited and waited for it, but he remained silent.

“Aren’t you supposed to answer me when I ask you a question, Havoc?” I shot out.

“Bly,” he said, his voice full of pain, but he still refused to look at me.

“Look at me,” I demanded.

“I’m not allow-”

“Look at me damnit!” I shouted, shoving his chest hard.

Finally, those honey–browns snapped to me. My breath caught in my throat again. Havoc looked like he was in so much pain. Inside and out. But then he quickly looked away again.

“Havoc, I-”

“Please…” he cut me off, his eyes closing again. “Please Blythe, please just follow the rules

with this.”

“But this isn’t right,” I replied meekly.

“No, what I did wasn’t right,” he argued. “I deserve worse than this.”

“Havoc-”

“Blythe, please…” he said, his voice pained. “I need this too. I need to be punished. We all need this. Please, I’m trying to do the right thing now. It’s too late to fix what I did, but I need to pay for my sins. I’m already getting off way better than I should because of you. Please understand that my brothers and I need this.”

I stared at him for a moment, hoping he would look at me again. He didn’t. And I understood what he was saying. I understood what he meant. And I definitely had a few thoughts about how to make him suffer myself. He’s right. I have to respect Karma’s rules too.

But he’s definitely hearing it from me about how badly he hurt Hav- Evander.

“Kinda irritated that everyone will get to call you Evander now, I grumbled, making him laugh humorlessly.

“They’ll all call me prospect,” he told me.

“Not all of them,” I muttered, thinking about the club girls that hate me.

“Oh, uhm, there’s… one more thing I need to tell you,” he said uncomfortably. Great. What is it? “Uhm, because the mother chapter found out that I was locked up… Karma had to lie about what exactly happened.”

“Okay, so what’s the lie?” I asked.

“That I… cheated on you,” he answered.

“Excuse me?” I blurted.

“Everyone is going to think that I cheated on you,” he stated.

I shook my head, trying to wrap my mind around this.

“And with who did you apparently cheat on me with?” I asked.

“I don’t know, probably Snapper, since she was just sent away,” he replied. “Karma didn’t exactly tell me. I’m not sure that anyone’s gonna fu.cking care, since most of them know it’s not true.”

“So, Karma decided to humiliate me since I begged for you to be spared,” I stated, nodding with acceptance. “I get it. That’s fine.”

“No, Bly, it wasn’t to punish you-”

“It’s alright, Evander,” I cut him off, keeping my voice light.

“Please don’t blame Karma for this,” he rushed out, still not looking at me. “Blame me-”

“Oh, don’t you worry about a thing, dear brother,” I said, watching as Evander held back a groan. “Let’s just get you cleaned up, yeah? I can patch you up like old times.”

Evander winced and I felt my anger flare.

“Doc already checked me out,” he told me. “You’re not allowed to baby me.”

“Baby you?” I asked tightly, one eyebrow raising.

Evander sighed, clearly feeling like he was digging himself a deeper hole.“You know what I mean,” he said. “Please just… just go along with it all. Let me pay for my mistakes, my sins against you and the club.”

“No,” I stated as I stood up.

“No?” Evander echoed as his eyes snapped to me. I took that moment to drop my towel, not a care in the world. His face went red, and his eyes went wide as he quickly looked away. “Bly-”

“So, what happens now then?” I asked as I started pulling on clothes. So much for getting more sleep. I’m way to pi.ssed off now.

“I do whatever you want,” he replied. “I stick to you like glue. And… the club in on lockdown for now.”

I froze with my shirt in my hand. I clicked my tongue and threw the shirt over my head. I bet they won’t even tell me why we’re on lockdown. Fu.cking Karma. Goddamn club and their goddamn rules.

After I was dressed, I turned around to face Evander. He still wasn’t looking at me. I was fuming, my anger just boiling and boiling. I’m not sure that I’ve ever been this angry before.

“Lift up your shirt,” I demanded suddenly.

“Bly-”

“You’re my lapdog, right?” I cut him off. “Lift. Up. Your. Shirt.”

Evander sighed as he stood up.

“I’m not going to do that, Blythe-”

‘cut him off by marching towards him. I reached for his shirt, but he tried to stop me. I

pped his hands away, battling with him until I finally clutched the fabric in my fist. Then I noved it up, revealing more damage to Evander’s body. A gasp left my lips as I stared at the bruising across his body.

“Blythe,” he bit out as she shoved his shirt back down.

“How many ribs did they break?” I asked.

“Bly-”

“Ya know what? Just stay here,” I cut him off as I marched to the door.

“What? Why? Where are you going?” He rushed out as she chased after me.

I spun around, pointing a finger at him.

“Sit down and wait for me like a good little doggie!” I snapped. “I’m going to get answers.”

“Bly, please-”

“Evander, I’m trying,” I cut him off again, barely able to push the words out through my clenched teeth. “You’re supposed to be my servant. So sit the fu.ck down. I’ll be back soon. And then, you’re going to start your real punishment. Because if you thought even for a second that I was going to make this easy for you, you’re wrong.” I spat. “You’re going to look me in the eyes every single fu.cking day and see the damage you’ve done. Just like you will with your brothers. You’re going to beg for our forgiveness and learn exactly how deep the damage you caused runs. And I’m going to make sure you learn your lesson. But that doesn’t mean I’m not fu.cking furious with the rest of them either!”

“I…” he trailed off.

I saw a tear trail down his cheek and some of my anger deflated. I shut my eyes and blew out a breath. Then I looked at Evander again.

“That doesn’t mean we won’t forgive you,” I told him. “All of us will eventually. I’ll make sure of it. Because just like you a.ssholes won’t ever let me go… I’m not letting you go either. Even if that means I chain you up in my room and make you grovel for the rest of your damn life. You’re not dying and you’re not leaving. None of us are. You just have to learn how to fix all this.”

Without waiting for a response, I walked out of my bedroom, slamming the door shut behind me.
