Kylian/Karma’s P.O.V.
***
I had locked myself away in my office, telling everyone that I was busy. It wasn’t a complete lie. I had sh.it to do. The club still owned most of the businesses in town. We were still a legal business that I needed to keep up with. Not to mention the other sh.it we do. I had to call Crash back with his team. Ghost is staying for the time being. Even the Rossi brothers have decided to stay, taking one of the empty houses on the property. Although, I feel like Mattia has ulterior motives that involve my baby sister.
On top of all of that, I have no idea what to do about SD or Quinn. We have proof of what they’re doing now. We have Blythe to testify. We could take all this the legal route. Luca even suggested it to me. Said he knows some people in the FBI. People who would bust everything wide open and make Sean and Daniel pay.
Or, we could take our own route. The gangster way. The biker way. Luca even offered his help with that. We could storm into Silent Divine on a night that Daniel and Sean and his parents are there. That Mason fu.cker too. We could kill them all, save the kids, burn the place to the fu.cking ground. Of course, that comes with more complications. We’d have to be sneaky, make sure that we have all our exits covered. There’s a chance that we could lose a man, which I really don’t want. Not to mention how we would explain finding all the kids after it’s said and done.
Not impossible, just complicated.
Honestly, the FBI could handle everything except Sean, Daniel, and Mason. Those are the only ones that I want personally. The rest can rot away in prison, but those three… I want to torture them myself.
A knock on my office door pulled me from my thoughts. I got up and saw that it was Luca. I opened the door, letting him come inside before shutting it again.
“You look like sh.it,” he commented as I sat back down behind my desk.
I sighed.
“I feel like sh.it,” I grumbled.
“Everyone’s already talking about Evander and what he did,” he said.
“Good,” I grunted.
“Is it?” he asked.
“I want the lie to get back to Rex, so yeah,” I replied.
“Oh, I see,” Luca said, clearly amused. “You didn’t think that lie through very thoroughly, did you?”
“What’s that supposed to mean?” I snapped.
“Oh, I have a feeling you’ll find out soon,” he replied. I rolled my eyes, choosing to ignore him. “Have you thought more about what you want to do regarding SD?” he asked.
I sighed as I scrubbed a hand down my face.
“You think we could get away with kidnappin‘ those three fu.cks?” I asked him. “Sean’s parents can burn down the legal way, but I want those three bas.tards in my hands.”
Luca seemed to think about it for a moment.
“With the help of my friend in the FBI, we could stage it all to look like Daniel, Sean, and Mason all managed to get out and run away when they got wind of being raided. As far as the world will know, they ran off to a different country,” he said.
“Perfect,” I grunted. “Now we just gotta figure out the details-”
Suddenly, my office door flung open. So hard, in fact, that it slammed against the wall, shaking the many frames hanging up. My head snapped up, I was ready to bite the head off whatever dumb fu.ck thought it was okay to barge in here. Until I was struck with a pair of electric blue eyes. Very angry electric blue eyes.
“You!” She spat, pointing a finger at me as her pretty eyes narrowed.
“Blythe,” I breathed out as I shot to my feet.
Bly marched right into my office, around my desk, and got right in my face. I was stunned for many reasons. Mostly that she was talking to me. I knew she was going to be pi.ssed, but I thought I’d get more silent treatment. I was also stunned by the way she looked. She has hickeys all over her fu.cking neck and the part of her chest I can see. There are so many of them, so dark, that she looks like she was in a fu.cking fight or some sh.it.
And fu.ck, does she look fu.cking smoking hot.
“You fu.cking prick!” She shouted, jabbing me in the chest with her finger. “Did you have to hurt him that badly? And what the fu.ck, Kylian!? He answers to you before me?! He can’t touch me even if I say it’s okay?! He can’t even look at me?! And why are we on lockdown?! What the hell is going on?! What aren’t you telling me?! And why THE FU.CK would you think a lie like me getting cheated on is oh–fu.cking–kay??!!!” She was screaming by the end of this, and I was at a complete loss for words.
I looked up at Luca, who looked taken aback and amused at Bly’s outburst. I now understood what he meant about me not thinking that lie through. I wasn’t even thinking how it would make Bly look to other people.
“Luca, will you please excuse us,” I said to him. He gave me a nod and walked out of my office, gently shutting the door behind him. Once he was gone, I turned back to Blythe, grabbed her finger that was still pushing into me, and gave her a hard look. “Do not ever disrespect me like that in front of anyone again.”
“Or what?” She spat with narrowed eyes, challenging me.
“Blythe, I’m still the president of this club-”
She snorted, cutting me off.
“Oh believe me, oh gracious one, I know exactly who you are,” she snapped. “And now you can start explaining.”
“Blythe,” I said in warning.
“Kylian, I’m way too pi.ssed off right now to give a flying fu.ck about how disrespectful I sounded. If your club doesn’t like strong women, and understand that sometimes, we all have meltdowns, then maybe I shouldn’t be here,” she stated.
“Don’t start that sh.it,” I growled.
“I’m not making threats to you, Kylian, I’m being honest,” she said.
I sighed, not sure where to even go from here.
“I had to Bly-”
“Oh, save it,” she cut me off, holding her hand up. “I’m sick of hearing about club rules.”
“Fair enough,” I muttered with a nod.
“Now, why are we on lockdown?” She asked. “And don’t you dare say you can’t tell me.”
I blew out a breath.
“Alright, but keep it to yourself,” I told her. “Most of the brothers know the truth, but we got a rat somewhere here.”
“What? Who?” She asked, shocked.
“I don’t know yet, but our lockdown ain’t about that,” I said. “We just rescued those kids, Bly. Someone’s gonna come after us. visit j(o)b{n}ib_._c]o[m for fast updates. If Sean and Daniel don’t already know you’re here, they’re gonna soon. Can’t risk anybody comin‘ or goin‘ right now. Got guys comin‘ back from the road too.”
“Are we preparing for war?” she asked quietly.
“I don’t know, Spark,” I answered honestly.
Then another kind of fire lit behind those electric eyes.
“What if I want war?” she asked.
I stared at her for a moment.
“Is that what you want?” I replied.
“I want them to pay,” she said. “I want them to suffer, and I want the kids to be safe.”
“Then I will serve them to you on a silver platter, my love,” I mumbled, leaning down to look deeply into her eyes.
“Promise?” She breathed out.
“I promise,” I whispered.
“Alright,” she said, suddenly pulling back. “But for now… I’m pissed at you.”
With that, she spun around and stormed out of my office.
