Apologies – Part I

Entering the dimly lit bedroom, Juniper couldn’t help the flutter of butterflies dancing in her stomach at the scene in front of her. Beni had been busy. Candles dotted the room in soft flickers. The bed sheets were pulled down in a warm inviting display with all the pillows puffed and plumped up. The curtains billowed in the soft breeze coming off the water. There was a delicious citrusy scent in the air, and it was heady and sweet.

Beni turned as he lit the last candle and gave her a gentle smile, “hi Sunshine.”

“Hi.”

“How are you feeling?”

She gave a one–shouldered shrug, “good.”

“You’re feeling a bit out of sorts because Phineas didn’t keep you on his lap tonight for dinner.” Astute as always, Beni called her out with a knowing look.

“Yes. I know I don’t need him to coddle me like that, but I like it when he does. It makes me feel I’m cared for.”

“And you felt you weren’t cared for?

She gave a cheeky grin, “no. I could tell it bugged him as much as it bugged me. If anything, I’m a bit full of myself but at the same time I missed his cuddles.”

“It did bug him,” Beni grinned as he leaned against the wall and watched her, “but good on you for not rubbing it in his face.”

“I hurt his feelings enough for one day.” She said quietly.

“If it makes you feel better,” Beni said with a smile, “I didn’t realize he knew you’d come from the spanking. I knew he was giving you a bit of pleasure, quick, but I thought more that he was edging you than he was actually trying to make you come.” He looked past her, “speaking of, is he still on his call?”

“Yes. The life of a busy CEO who takes impromptu vacations without a moment’s notice. Janice was really laying into him. At the company, he has a reputation for being a cold motherfucker and I’m surprised at the way she spoke to him.”

“Personally, I think on every other day she’s hoping he fires her. He’s hard to work for.”

She snickered at his comment, “well, she was letting him know blowing off a multi–million–dollar call was a problem.”

jutted two thumbs against his chest and Juniper threw her head back and laughed loudly at his comment.

“I do. Phineas, Adil, and I had a very long conversation while we held you while you were sleeping. Phineas was considering putting you over his knee, spanking you until you were too sore to sit but then we pointed out he never really did have the conversation about boundaries, likes, dislikes and rules. He can’t really punish you for something he didn’t clearly define. However, you were very bratty this morning, so we think you are the one who is going to get the party started. On your knees, beautiful.”

“Why?” he gave a laugh, “you know it’s yours.”

“True,” she moved to kneel in front of him, enjoying the way the simple act of falling to her knees made his breath hitch. She reached her fingers out to let her fingers encase the length of him and she gave a long stroke. Salivating, Juniper leaned her head forward and let her lips wrap around the head of the delicacy within her grasp. “All mine.” She stared up into his hazel eyes, loving how they were locked on her like she was 475 about to perform a miracle equivalent to walking on water.

His fingers reached forward to smooth her hair off her forehead. “You’re so beautiful.” Beni adjusted his hips and moved his fingers to cradle her skull.

Her mouth widened as he slid himself along her tongue towards her uvula. He tucked her hair behind her ear. He tasted familiar and smelled musky but clean. She was unable to look away from his stare as his jaw tightened with the way her lips rounded around his head, sucking him deep into her

throat.

The sound of the bathroom door opening made her ears perk up and then Adil’s comment floated towards them.

“Starting without me? We can’t have that.”
