Larissa's Game of Thrones (Larissa) novel Chapter 124

Vivica knew her son was also worried about upsetting Honora. She turned to the adopted daughter, taking her hand gently. “Honora, dear, I know you’ve always been so understanding. You can appreciate my position, can’t you?”

Honora forced a smile. “Of course, Mom. I never wanted to compete with Larissa for anything. The most important thing is that she’s back with you, Dad, and our brothers. Just… please don’t send me away.”

Vivica nodded, pleased. She patted Honora’s head. “I knew I could count on you. You’ve always been such a good girl; your father and I haven’t wasted our love on you. Don’t worry, we’ll continue to treat you both equally. Anything Larissa gets, you won’t go without.”

But Honora shook her head. “Mom, don’t say that. All I want is to stay here with you and Dad.”

“Alright,” Vivica said, her eyes filled with appreciation. “You and Leopold can apologize to Larissa together in a moment.”

“Okay,” Honora agreed, but deep in her eyes, a flicker of resentment burned hotter. This whole ordeal had shown her exactly where she stood with Vivica and Paxton. She had once believed their love was real, but now she saw it wasn't so pure. It was nothing compared to the genuine affection Neville and Sapphira showed Larissa.

As soon as the gates opened, Vivica practically dragged Leopold past Sapphira and hurried toward the villa.

“Larissa, dear! Did you sleep well? Have you had breakfast? If not, come back to our house, and I’ll cook for you myself!”

Sapphira watched her go, a bitter taste in her mouth.

Honora, who had been left behind, walked up to stand beside Sapphira. “Aunt Sapphira, are you alright?” she asked softly.
