The director clapped his hands over his ears. “Yikes. So that’s what being a celebrity fan is like? Guess it’s not so easy making money in showbiz after all.”

Amelia immediately realized the situation was escalating and quickly yanked Daniel’s hand down.

Daniel’s eyes danced with amusement as he stole a glance at her cheeks, now flushed crimson, and his smile only deepened.

The shippers in the crowd shrieked with excitement, more thrilled than kids at Christmas dinner.

The host wiped sweat from his brow. This crowd was impossible to control. He raised his voice again, working hard to restore order, and as things finally calmed down a little, he rushed to get the event back on track.

Every segment of the press conference had been meticulously prepared—this was an official business collaboration, not some entertainment launch. Once the program settled into its proper rhythm, the shippers quieted down a bit, though the clicking of cameras never really stopped.
