Love Me Back (Amelia and Daniel) novel Chapter 403

Amelia’s stomach churned so violently she almost threw up.

After Samuel finished speaking, he left the room, but not before he tied Amelia to the metal bed frame with a thick rope.

She couldn’t move an inch—bound up so tightly she felt like a trussed-up doll. Her mind was a tangled mess, veering from panicked thoughts of what that psycho Samuel might do next, to frantic worry about Daniel’s fate.

One moment, she was sure she wouldn’t make it out of this alive. If even Daniel had been captured, then that lunatic wasn’t about to let either of them go. The next, her thoughts clung to Cedric—after all these years by Daniel’s side, he couldn’t just be dead weight. He had to be planning something, right? He’d find a way to save them.

Her thoughts spun in circles, a hopeless tangle she just couldn’t unravel. While her mind raced, the rusty door creaked open again; Samuel walked in carrying a laptop.

Amelia’s breath caught in her throat. A sick premonition told her exactly what he intended.

“How about a little show before we go?” Samuel grinned, his eyes gleaming with twisted satisfaction. He leaned in and pinched Amelia’s cheek, his touch possessive and repulsive. “After you watch this, you’ll give up hope for good. You’ll come with me willingly.”

Revulsion surged through Amelia; she twisted her head away, desperately rubbing her cheek against her shoulder to wipe off the memory of his touch.

Samuel scoffed. “Still find me disgusting? Well, just wait. I’ll show you what kind of man you’re so attached to.”

The old brick house stood silent under the pale moonlight, dust swirling in the air. Through a grimy window, silver light spilled across the battered wooden floor.

Violet sat in a rickety chair, eyeing her reflection in a cracked mirror. She frowned in dissatisfaction. “Can you make my lips look paler? And this bruise—can you touch it up? It doesn’t look real enough.”

The makeup artist hesitated. “Ms. Scott, if I make your lips any paler, it’ll look fake. The bruise looks real enough on camera—I can show you a photo if you like.”

Chapter 403 2

Samuel dragged a chair next to Amelia and sat down. “Not this time. Didn’t you notice? Mr. Campbell’s tied up too. Makes things much more interesting.”

He turned to Daniel’s video and nodded his chin. “Good evening, Mr. Campbell.”

Daniel sat in what looked like an abandoned factory, tied to a chair with his hands behind his back. His expression was icy, his gaze sharp enough to cut through the screen and strip Samuel bare.

Chapter 403 3

Daniel’s eyes were cold as steel, but not a hint of fear showed on his face. His lips curled slightly as he spoke, voice low and steady. “Terms.”

Samuel’s lips twisted into a grin. “Finally, someone who knows how to negotiate. Here’s my first condition—get on your knees and beg.”
