Love Times Four My Stepbrothers Are My Mates (Alayah) novel Chapter 130

**Chapter 130: How**

**Alayah’s p.o.v.**

The number of unresolved cases that require my attention is dwindling, and so I delegate the task of gathering information to the Elders, accompanied by Elite Warriors as their protection. They are responsible for notifying the Alpha of each Pack about who must present themselves before me. Should anyone fail to appear, I will not hesitate to descend upon them personally to deliver my judgment.

“Alright, let’s break this down,” Mom begins, her voice steady yet inquisitive. I reach for a file resting on my desk, its contents weighing heavily on my mind.

“This file holds three reports regarding a rejection that was never accepted. Curiously, none of these reports originated from the rejector or the one who was rejected. Bryson has conducted an investigation into the Wolves involved, and thankfully, both are still alive, which means we have the opportunity to seek justice,” I explain, my voice firm with resolve.

“The rejector and the rejected will be summoned to the Blood Stone Pack, and they are permitted to bring whoever they choose along. However, Bryson has raised a significant concern regarding this arrangement. If I allow the rejector to bring their Mate, I would be inadvertently allowing the crime to persist within my territory. This is a situation I cannot abide,” I continue, determination lacing my words.

Mom falls silent for a few moments, contemplating the gravity of the situation. I take the opportunity to link an Omega to bring us some coffee. It’s important to me that our time together isn’t solely consumed by discussions of Pack matters; I cherish these moments with her.

“You could separate them the instant they set foot in your territory, or you could arrange for the rejector and the rejected to leave with their chosen companions while everyone else follows at their own discretion,” Mom suggests thoughtfully. I find myself warming to a combination of both ideas, appreciating the flexibility they offer.

As we delve deeper into the details, savoring our coffee, a gentle knock on the door interrupts our conversation. Mom rises to open it, and I’m taken aback when she invites the Omega inside.

“Geneva, you’re well-acquainted with the Pack-house layout, and we could use your expertise,” Mom states, and I listen intently as she outlines our plan to Geneva.

“That’s quite manageable. Simply place them on the floor designated for unmated Elite Warriors. There are both males and females residing there, and they can serve as guards throughout the night. None of them would permit any harm to come to another; they’ll ensure that both parties remain in their respective rooms, alone,” Geneva replies, her confidence evident. I find myself genuinely liking this suggestion.

“Alright, and what about those who come here to testify?” I inquire, curious to hear her thoughts. A small grin breaks across Geneva’s face.

“We have a guesthouse situated behind the Pack-house; it’s been neglected and is a wasted space. There’s ample room to accommodate several guests, and it will complicate matters for anyone who might try to act against our wishes,” she explains, her practicality shining through.

With that, Mom and Geneva leave my office to prepare the guesthouse, and I take this chance to seek out my two little Lycans. I discover them nestled in the library, engrossed in a session with Grandma, and I settle into a chair, content to observe them for a while.

“What do you say when you meet someone?” Grandma prompts Maxwell, her voice warm and encouraging.

“Mice meet you,” Maxwell replies earnestly, and I can’t help but stifle a laugh as Topaz rolls around in my head, amused by the innocent mistake.

“Nice, Maxwell. Not mice,” Grandma gently corrects him, and I quickly cover my mouth with my hands to suppress my laughter.
