**Chapter 295: The Privilege of a Pure-blood Alpha**
**Deanna’s POV:**
As soon as the words left Luis’s lips, a flurry of activity erupted from the depths of the hospital. A group of doctors clad in crisp white coats emerged, their expressions a blend of urgency and professionalism. The man at the forefront, appearing to be in his fifties, sported sleek black-framed glasses that accentuated his authoritative demeanor. The gold wolf-head emblem adorning the cuff of his coat hinted at his high-ranking position—most likely the director of the hospital.
With purposeful strides, they approached us, and the director addressed Luis with an unmistakable air of respect. “Mr. Eaton, we were unaware of your visit. My sincerest apologies for not extending a proper welcome.”
Luis’s tone was steady and composed as he replied, “Please, expedite the preparations. I require your finest gynecologist.”
“Absolutely. Rest assured, I’ve made all necessary arrangements. Ms. Wiley, if you would be so kind as to follow them for your checkup,” he instructed, gesturing toward the waiting medical staff.
I was taken aback, not expecting Luis to wield such influence that he could summon the hospital’s director. The sheer power he possessed was both awe-inspiring and intimidating.
In the waiting area, the werewolves glanced over, their curiosity palpable. I could sense the whispers of the omegas, their envious glances flitting between Luis and me, igniting a feeling of discomfort within me.
Awkwardness washed over me like a cold wave, and I was unsure of how to respond. Luis, sensing my unease, placed a reassuring hand on my shoulder. “Don’t be anxious. Go ahead. I’ll be right here waiting for you.”
With that, a cluster of doctors and nurses guided me down the sterile corridor towards the examination room, their demeanor professional yet warm.
**Luis’s POV:**
While Deanna underwent her checkup, I found myself in Carlos Lloyd’s office, a place filled with the scent of freshly brewed tea and the soft hum of the hospital’s operations. I reclined on the couch, casually crossing my legs, my eyes glued to my phone as I typed out messages with practiced ease. Carlos settled beside me, pouring tea into a cup and handing it to me with a hint of nervousness.
“Mr. Eaton, while our gynecology department may not be the top-ranking in Nordvale, I assure you we hold a commendable third position. You needn’t worry—if Ms. Wiley encounters any complications, we are more than equipped to manage them,” he assured, his voice earnest.
Without lifting my gaze, I continued tapping away at my screen, my mind focused on finalizing arrangements.
His hand hovered awkwardly in mid-air before he set the cup down, a hint of frustration crossing his features. “Mr. Eaton, well… all hospitals in Nordvale are currently under evaluation. We’re looking to acquire advanced equipment to enhance patient care and improve our rankings. I was hoping you might consider assisting us—”
I finished my message, locked my phone, and interrupted him. “Have the results been released yet?”
Carlos sprang to his feet, urgency written all over his face. “I’ll check immediately!”
He rushed to his desk, dialing the internal line with a sense of determination. “What’s the status on Ms. Wiley’s results? Good.”
After hanging up, he returned, a smile plastered on his face, eager to share the news. “They’re in! Mr. Eaton, I’m pleased to inform you that Ms. Wiley’s results are all normal.”
