My Deceased Wife Wants a Divorce (Hannah) novel Chapter 451

“But now that Sandra has told me, I know I was wrong. I had to make things right with you, which is why I flew back so suddenly to find you. I'm sorry for disturbing your rest.”

Hannah and Samuel listened with stony faces, waiting patiently for him to finish before speaking.

“So, you came here to wake me up this early in the morning just to tell me something so trivial that can't be changed now? What's the point? What good is an apology at this stage?” Hannah said.

Samuel rolled his eyes and shot back, “Did you really think that bringing us this news would make us feel all touched and grateful? That we'd thank you and just get back together?”

“Besides, how can you be sure he was the one who did the drugging, based on just a few photos? What if Sandra drugged someone and then framed him? Is there a video? You can't just go around slandering people based on a couple of pictures.”

As Samuel spoke, he pushed Lionel aside. “Alright, that's enough. If you have anything else to say, save it for later. Move it. Oh, and from now on, don't let this man into our house. That goes for his family too. I'm sick of them waltzing in and out of here whenever they please!”

The siblings exchanged a look and walked out, ignoring Lionel, who stood frozen in place.

Once in the car, Samuel continued, “Hannah, I can't believe Sandra sent him that information too. But he's such an idiot for believing it based on a few photos without investigating first. He accuses you and his brother with such ease. What if this is just another one of Sandra's fabrications? After all, that woman is a pathological liar. We can't be sure any of this is real.”

“I feel the same way. She's lied too many times.”
