My Reborn Admirer Wins Over My Heart novel Chapter 129

**He Returned to Break and Own Me and for His Queen**

**Zephyr’s Concern**

Micah had barely begun his sentence when his voice, clear and unwavering, filled the air. “You’re absolutely right. I’ll take the day off and just rest.”

Oriana stood frozen, her mind racing to catch up with his words.

A gentle smile crept across Micah’s face as he continued, “It’s not a critical meeting. There’s no need for you to worry.”

“Alright then,” she replied, her brow furrowing slightly. “Just make sure you actually get some sleep and stop overthinking everything.”

“Can I make a small request?” Micah asked, his tone playful yet earnest.

“What is it?” she inquired, curiosity piqued.

With a teasing curl of his finger, he beckoned her to lean closer.

Oriana tilted her head, her heart racing as she leaned in, her ear hovering near his lips.

His delicate lips parted, and in that instant, a rush of warmth flooded her cheeks.

The next moment, her ears turned a deep shade of crimson, and she recoiled as if struck by lightning.

She quickly glanced over at Kieran, who stood just a few paces away, before a wave of embarrassment washed over her, making her feel like a reckless teenager caught in a moment of passion. “If it helps you sleep, then fine,” she stammered, trying to regain her composure.

Kieran had been a silent observer of the entire exchange, blinking in disbelief. Once, twice, he blinked again, trying to process what he had just witnessed.

Was it merely his imagination, or did Micah and Oriana seem unusually close today?

They resembled two people lost in the blissful haze of a honeymoon phase, completely oblivious to everything around them.

Once Oriana had departed, Micah closed the door behind her with a soft click.

He turned on his heel, his steps sure and deliberate, making his way into the bedroom that felt alive with her essence.

In the past, after she had left, he would enter and sit quietly for a while, absorbing the silence that lingered in her absence.

But he had always confined himself to her desk, never daring to venture further, afraid to cross boundaries that might send her running.

But today was a different story.

With a sense of newfound ownership, Micah pulled back the meticulously folded covers and slipped into the cool embrace of her powder-blue sheets, a color that felt foreign yet inviting against his skin. The softness enveloped him like a warm embrace, washing away the tension of the day.

Now, he had every right to lie in her bed.

Chubby rolled into the room, its scanner blinking as it chimed a warning. “Daddy, this is Oriana’s room.”

Micah turned onto his side, burying his face into the pillow, inhaling the faint, lingering scent of her hair that clung to the fabric.

“Yes, I know,” he murmured, a smile tugging at the corners of his mouth.

Chubby rolled closer, its tone insistent. “Daddy, this is Oriana’s bed.”

Micah tugged the blanket up to his nose, her scent wrapping around him like a comforting shroud.

“I know,” he replied, his voice muffled.
