My Reborn Admirer Wins Over My Heart novel Chapter 130

**He Returned to Break and Own Me and for His Queen 130**
**Noah’s Worry**

Noah’s heart was a storm of unease; something about the day felt off-kilter. Kieran had shared what he thought was the truth: Micah had been restless, tossing and turning through the night, and had taken a day off to recuperate.

Yet, that explanation only deepened Noah’s discomfort. He knew Micah well—knew him better than most.

Micah had always been the kind of boy who could sleep through anything, a rock in a sea of noise since childhood. The idea that he couldn’t find solace in sleep now was alarming.

A sudden, chilling thought pierced through Noah’s mind like a lightning bolt, and he quickly seized the phone from Albert’s hands, his voice firm as he addressed Kieran. “How have Micah and Oriana been getting along lately?”

Kieran, ever the dutiful assistant, began to relay Oriana’s packed schedule, mentioning an unusual interaction between the two that morning. “Teaching assistant work, hospital internship, and now she’s talking about grad school?”

Noah felt a tight knot form in his chest, constricting his breath. So that was it. Oriana must be weaving a web of excuses to distance herself from Micah. It was no wonder the poor boy was losing sleep over it.

The more he mulled over the situation, the more his anxiety escalated. With a decisive wave of his hand, he commanded, “Prepare the car. I need to see him.”

Albert hesitated, a hint of concern etching his features. “Mr. Caldwell, if you show up unannounced, won’t Micah be upset?”

Noah’s brows shot up, and a flash of irritation ignited in him. “Hmph. He never bothers to visit me, and I’m supposed to tiptoe around his feelings?”

Moments later, Noah stormed into the building, his mind racing with thoughts of Micah’s distress.

Chubby, the ever-watchful doorman, recognized him immediately and unlocked the door with a nod.

As Noah stepped inside, the heaviness in his chest grew with each stride, until he found himself frozen on the threshold of Micah’s apartment.

It had only been a month since his last visit, but the transformation of the space was striking.

Once, it had been a dreary expanse of black-and-white tones, cold and lifeless. Now, vibrant bouquets of flowers adorned the tables, warm-colored pillows and throws brightened the couches, and a little terrarium on the balcony housed two tiny turtles, blissfully crawling about.

Everywhere he looked, the place radiated life and warmth.

Noah rubbed the corner of his eye, feeling an unexpected heat prickling there. So this was what it meant to have a woman in the house, a softening presence that transformed everything.

Yet, his heart ached for Micah; the boy still hadn’t managed to win Oriana’s heart.

Noah, hardened by years of navigating the treacherous waters of business, felt a sharp pang of sorrow in his chest.

The distance from the living room to Micah’s bedroom was a mere hundred steps, yet Noah walked them as if he were carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders.

“Micah, I came to see you,” he called out, knocking on the door with a heavy sigh.

“I met Oriana. She’s a wonderful girl. With her here, this house feels alive, filled with warmth. I truly like the girl you’ve chosen for yourself.”

“But I also understand that feelings cannot be forced. Your pain makes me ache, too. Why don’t you tell me what’s troubling you two? Perhaps I can help you analyze it. Who knows—maybe there’s still a chance to turn things around.”
