**Chapter 193: Suspicion**
Nyla suddenly leaned in toward Luna, her visage bold and adorned with makeup that seemed to amplify her already commanding presence. An unsettling energy radiated from her, a tangible threat hanging in the air.
“This better not involve you. If you dare to mess with my friend, I swear I won’t let you off easy!” she declared, her voice dripping with venom.
“Nyla, you’ve completely misunderstood me,” Luna replied, her voice steady despite the chaos swirling around her.
But Nyla was not swayed by Luna’s words; she saw through them as if they were made of glass. With a sharp click of her heels, she turned on her heel and strode away, her confidence palpable with each step.
Luna leaned against the cold, hard wall, her body frozen for a moment as she tried to process the confrontation. It felt as if the very air around her had thickened, making it hard to breathe. Slowly, her muscles relaxed, and she inhaled deeply, trying to regain her composure.
She slipped into a discreet passageway, closed the door behind her with a soft click, and reached for her phone. The familiar weight of the device felt reassuring in her palm as she dialed a number.
Soon, a lazy male voice broke through the cacophony of the background noise. “Luna, are you sending me money again?” he drawled, his tone laced with a hint of amusement.
Luna’s voice was firm as she responded, “Henley, I had you sell the info to the paparazzi. You didn’t reveal your identity, right?”
“Of course not! I’m not an idiot—I wouldn’t put myself in danger like that,” he replied, his pride swelling as he continued, “You won’t believe it! A single gossip story sold for a hundred thousand dollars! The money in showbiz is ridiculously easy! Keep sending me tips, alright? I’m a great tool for making you cash.”
A hundred grand in hand, and he was already hungry for the next big score!
Luna’s teeth clenched in frustration. “You’d better keep a low profile with that money. The entertainment industry is a treacherous sea. If Kaelyn’s company discovers that you’ve been scheming behind her back, you’ll find yourself in serious trouble. So, behave!”
“Alright, alright, I get it. Chill out,” Henley replied, his voice dripping with nonchalance before he hung up, clearly uninterested in her admonitions.
Luna was fuming. If only the situation hadn’t spiraled out of control so quickly, and if she had someone dependable by her side, Henley would never have had the chance to exploit this situation!

Meanwhile, Oriana and Bryan had joined a WhatsApp group, their conversation flowing easily as they shared moments in the hospital room.
As Bryan prepared to take his leave, he paused, his brow furrowing slightly as he gathered his thoughts.
“Oriana, may I ask—did you and your husband marry out of genuine love? It wasn’t some impulsive decision, was it?”
Oriana blinked, taken aback by the directness of his question. Bryan, sensing he might have overstepped, chuckled awkwardly, trying to ease the tension. “My son mentioned something. He said he didn’t have your contact information that day, and it was your husband who came to pick you up. He also mentioned your husband seems to have a bit of a vision issue.”
Concern flickered in Bryan’s eyes as he studied Oriana’s reaction.
Oriana smiled softly, her lips pursing in thought. “Yes, he has a minor eye issue, but it doesn’t hinder his daily life. In fact, he often takes care of me.”
