My Reborn Admirer Wins Over My Heart novel Chapter 241

**TITLE: He Returned to Break and Own Me and for His Queen 241**
**Chapter 241: Adorably Clumsy**

The long-awaited surgery had finally reached its conclusion. After standing for what felt like an eternity, Oriana could feel a dull ache radiating through her lower back, each step she took becoming increasingly burdensome, as if the weight of the world rested upon her shoulders.

As she leaned against the wall, rubbing her back in a futile attempt to ease the discomfort, William emerged from the operating room, the faint scent of antiseptic still clinging to him. He was drying his hands with a paper towel when he caught sight of her. His gaze sharpened, and a knowing smirk crept across his face.

“Micah is more capable than I thought—in bed,” he remarked, his tone teasing yet laced with an undertone of sincerity.

Oriana’s cheeks flushed a deep crimson, her heart racing at the unexpected mention of her relationship. “Mr. Harris…” she stammered, caught off guard.

“There’s no need to be shy, dear. I was young once, too. I’ve been observing the chemistry between you two for quite some time now,” he replied, a hint of amusement dancing in his eyes.

He offered a quiet hum, his demeanor shifting slightly as he added, “Affection runs deep—that’s nothing to be ashamed of.”

Oriana found herself at a loss for words, her mind racing as she tried to process his implications.

Then, in a surprising turn, William’s lighthearted expression shifted to one of seriousness.

“Listen, dear. It’s perfectly fine to be with him, but do ensure you practice protection.”

Assuming he was referring to her academic focus, Oriana straightened, a sense of determination flooding her. “Don’t worry, Mr. Harris. I won’t allow anything to interfere with my graduate studies.”

William frowned, a line of concern forming on his forehead. “That’s not what I meant. Didn’t Micah tell you?”

Confusion washed over Oriana’s features, her brow furrowing.

William’s frown deepened as he continued, “Micah’s condition is largely genetic—passed down from his mother. If he ever wants children, the only safe way for him is through IVF. Otherwise, there’s a significant risk that any child could inherit it—and possibly even worse consequences.”

He muttered under his breath, “Why didn’t he mention it? Then again, he’s always been thoughtful—probably waiting until you two are ready to discuss having a baby.”

Oriana remained silent, her mind racing back to the previous night. She vividly remembered how careful Micah had been, going through an entire box of three.

“Alright, no need to dwell on it. You’ve worked hard today—go home and get some rest. And don’t forget to hand in your report tomorrow,” he instructed, his tone shifting back to a more mentor-like cadence.

Oriana felt a surge of confidence; she had already completed her preliminary exam and was optimistic about her results.

“Got it, Mr. Harris,” she replied, nodding appreciatively. She quickly changed into her casual clothes and made her way out of the hospital, her thoughts still somewhat scattered.

As she entered the parking lot, she spotted a familiar car and slipped inside, her heart lifting at the sight.

Kieran barely had time to react before Oriana landed squarely on something warm and solid—his lap.

Startled, she attempted to leap up, forgetting she was in a confined space, and bumped her head against the roof of the car.

Before the pain could register, a firm hand caught her, steadying her.
