“As for Mr. Flint, I’ll try smoothing things over with someone else. If it works, great. If not, it’s fine too. You’re smart enough to succeed on your own. I believe in you.”

Luna was seething inside, frustrated and furious. Then Bramwell casually threw out, “By the way, Luna, do you know what kind of background Oriana’s husband has?”

Owen probably told them about Oriana’s husband sending those ridiculously fancy flowers.

Bramwell, who’d already been quietly pondering after Weston’s earlier comments, instantly turned grim.

“We’re the Sterling family of Seabar. She’s been to every big event with us since she was a kid. Is she really that clueless? That’s a classified facility, and she’s acting like it’s a sightseeing tour, showing off on video?”

Luna hadn’t mentioned the real reason for the call, so Bramwell naturally assumed Oriana had done it to show off and rub it in.
