**TITLE: He Returned to Break and Own Me and for His Queen 25**
**Chapter 25: A Handsome Stranger**
Oriana couldn’t shake the feeling that there was something oddly familiar about his voice. It had a certain charm that seemed to resonate deep within her, as if she had heard it in a dream long ago. Perhaps, she mused, truly pleasant voices share an unspoken quality that draws people in.
“No trouble at all,” Oriana replied, a subtle smile tugging at the corners of her lips. The warmth of the moment enveloped her, and she felt a flutter of excitement in her chest.
Leaning slightly forward, he caught her attention, and without hesitation, Oriana adjusted the blanket that had slipped from her shoulders. She turned to assist him with the bottled water, only to find him deftly twisting off the cap with ease. He then extended his hand toward her, offering it with a casual grace.
Oriana froze, caught off guard by the unexpected gesture.
Noticing her hesitation, he offered a gentle reassurance, “I’ll open it for you.”
As realization washed over her, a faint blush crept up her cheeks, coloring her nose a delicate pink. “I’m not drinking water,” she managed to say, her voice slightly flustered. “The flight attendants will serve me a drink later.”
She recalled that the flight attendant had probably handed him the bottle as a precaution against turbulence, anticipating that he might need it.
He nodded, completely unfazed by her response, and seamlessly continued their conversation. “Is this your first time in Jindiwood?” he inquired, his tone inviting.
Oriana was pleasantly surprised by his willingness to engage her in conversation. “Not exactly,” she replied, her mind drifting back to simpler times. “I went once for a summer camp in elementary school. Jindiwood has quite a few national museums; it’s definitely worth visiting.”
“Elementary school?” Micah’s lips twitched into a playful smirk. “That was ten years ago! Jindiwood has changed a lot since then; you might find it quite unfamiliar now.”
“Yeah, but that’s okay. I’ll explore slowly and get used to it,” Oriana reassured him, her confidence growing. After all, she would be living in Jindiwood for at least two years, and she was determined to adapt to her new surroundings.
Though the uncertainty of the future had initially filled her with anxiety, the light banter between them made the time fly by. Micah, who had seemed unapproachable at first glance, revealed a surprisingly warm and engaging personality that put her at ease.
Two hours and forty minutes later, the plane touched down smoothly at Jindiwood International Airport, the gentle jolt of landing stirring excitement within her.
Once the plane had taxied to a halt, the flight attendants began assisting first-class passengers in disembarking. “Have a pleasant journey. Hope to see you again,” one of them said cheerfully.
There were only three passengers in first class. Another man exited first, and then Micah stood, preparing to follow.
A flight attendant approached to assist him, but he raised his hand in a subtle gesture, signaling her to step back. She smiled, understanding his intent, and allowed him to leave unassisted.
Oriana, having checked in her luggage, carried only a small bag. As she glanced over, she noticed that Micah was not carrying anything at all; he simply held a white cane as he walked. Intrigued, she hurried to catch up with him.
Matching his pace, Oriana was struck by his height. He appeared slim yet towered over her, a fact that both intimidated and fascinated her.
Instinctively, she reached out and held onto his arm to guide him as they made their way toward the exit. “Are you going alone? Is someone coming to pick you up?” she asked, genuinely curious.
He pursed his lips thoughtfully before responding softly, “My assistant is waiting at the fast-track lane.”
