From the moment I moved here, I knew that there were Pack–members that mistreated other Pack- members. Whether that was with words or not, I just knew but I could never proof it and so I kept quiet.

After Hondo called me, I knew those Pack–members would finally meet justice and I will help him in any way I can. What I hadn’t expected was to find a connection with my childhood friend, but I am glad he was. with me when I found out the truth about my parents.

Hondo and his Lycan had been able to calm me and Shadow down, because both of us wanted to rip the people involved to pieces. Hondo thought it was smart to safe Dusya’s family for last, I think he just suggested it to make sure I had enough other reasons to be angry for and it is working.

No one has to tell me what is happening, because there is only one reason a male or female could be in that much pain and in this case the cause of the pain are the two Wolves on the back porch. The female on the floor is one of the Pack’s teachers and I truly believe it is her rank as a Sigma that has her Mate inflicting this pain on her.

Gilles is an Asshole that believes he deserves the best of the best, but he will never say anything about it in front of our Alpha. Once he is done with the female on his lap, he looks at his Mate with a smug look on his face, “Did you enjoy it as much as we did?” He asks, before he walks into the cottage with the female still in his arms and that is when I recognize her, Haydu.

“The female is Haydu, the Daughter of Orosz Hyll.” I whisper to Hondo and he takes of at full speed, picking up the female that has finally passed out from the pain her Mate put her trough.

I follow him as he walks back to the cottage that once belonged to my Grandparents, both of them died a few years back and I have been on my own ever since. Hondo walks up the stairs to the room he had planned on staying in and gently places her on the bed, “Do you trust the Pack–doctor?” He asks as he looks at the bed.

“No, but there is someone in the infirmary that I do trust.” I answer him before I link my Aunt. “She will be here shortly with everything she needs. I didn’t tell her about you though, I want to see the look on her face when she finds out that we have a connection.”

Hondo and I walk back downstairs, there is nothing we can do at the moment and I smile when Hondo heads for the coffee machine. We have just settled down with our coffee when my Aunt walks in, “Where is she?” She asks before her eyes lock with Hondo’s eyes and she lifts her eyebrows as she looks at me.

“She’s in one of the guest rooms, Aunt Nako.” I say, but I know she wanted another answer first. “This is Hondo from Blood Stone Pack, he is here to investigate a few families for Alpha Alayah.” I say without answering her questioning look.

“Taipo.” She growls softly and Hondo has the guts to start laughing. “Yes, Aunt Nako, there is a connection between us and he knows I am not a Wolf or a Lycan. I might have forgotten to mention yesterday that we are Lynxes.” I finally answer and I see Hondo smile when I finally tell him what kind of shifter I am.

“Hondo, you better start explaining a few things. In the meantime I want to see Faith, I knew something was wrong with her.” Aunt Nako says as she walks out of the kitchen. Hondo tells her what he knows about other kind of shifters and like me Aunt Nako stares at him when he mentions a Bear shifter. In the meantime Aunt Nako has taken a look at Faith and given her a sedative to keep her asleep for the next six hours.

The only thing Hondo didn’t mention was the file on Mom and I know he won’t show it to her, because she doesn’t have someone that can calm her down. We leave Aunt Nako at the cottage with Faith and we

continue our investigation into the other three families, starting with the Hyll family.

We find Orosz and Haydu at the Pack–house and if I hadn’t read the file on what they did to Steffy and her Mother, I would say they treat everyone equally. After an hour or so they both leave the Pack–house and we followed them at a distance, we don’t want them to know we are following them.

Like the Terrell family, they have a cottage as far away from the Pack–house as you can get and under normal circumstances I would have said that they like their privacy. We sneak closer to the cottage, after they have entered and I am surprised to see an Omega inside.

“Why the fuck isn’t my room cleaned, Bitch.” We hear Haydu growl and the next moment Orosz has punched the Omega in her stomach. I have trouble controlling Shadow, but he calms down the moment Hondo places his hand on my shoulder. It takes half an hour before the Omega finally walks out of the cottage, “Be here at six in the morning or I will make sure the Alpha turns you Rogue.” Orosz growls, before closing the door behind her.

Aunt Nako takes her up to another guestroom, after we managed to convince her to come with us and Aunt Nako will tell her what Hondo and I are doing. Our last investigation concerns the Farley family and I know that they also live quite far away from the Pack–house, but I never gave much thought to it until today.

“Holly has raised her Pups by herself, her Mate died during a Rogue attack about five years ago. No one understands how that was possible, because he was the strongest Warrior we had. Our leadership always trained with him, because he was the only one able to put up enough resistance.” I tell Hondo as we walk through the forest to the cottage that belongs to Holly Farley and her Pups.
