Chapter 544 Days Of The Full Moon

It wasn’t difficult to persuade Armand to spend another night here, he would have wanted to do the same thing if he was in our shoes and he understood our Lycans needed this as much as we did. No one objected when he informed them we would be staying for one more night.

Knowing she is just sleeping right now makes me and Mylo feel at case, Mylo had been on edge as she was unconscious and I felt him relax the moment she woke up. She told us she was a bit tired and I could hear it in her voice, so Conri and I used that as an excuse.

My jaw drops when she seems to know Malik, but when she explains how she knows about him I am really stunned and I need to process that there are actually survivors from that massacre. I just hope she really has all the answers the Council will need.

She slowly falls asleep in Conri’s arms and I pull her legs onto my lap as I grab hold of one of her hands. Mylo is laying in my head with his head on one of his paws and I know he can’t wait until he can communicate with his Mate, he and Kane have been talking about it non–stop.

“Orion, you mentioned Ma would be glad to hear that you would give up your line of work. What did you mean by that?” Conri asks him and I face Orion as I am curious about it as well. “Do you want to know what I meant with Ma being glad or giving up my job?” Orion asks and Callen chuckles at his words.

“Well, I meant giving up your job but now that you mention it. Why would Ma be glad if you did?” Conri responds and Orion tells us that Ma always felt uneasy with the fine line he walked between good and bad, “I never gave out information I knew could get someone killed.

I gave information that was a little hard to find for most and I guess that that could result in someone getting hurt, but if I knew it could get someone killed I always kept it to myself. That was the part of my Ma never really liked, because I never looked at why someone did something.

I never considered it a part of my job, I found the information a client was looking for and they decided what to do with it. Following Umayza around I hid more information than I had ever done in the past and my Sister has shown me I can use my talent to do good.

If someone needs my help I will take into consideration why they want the information and what they are planning on doing with it. I think I will focus my business more on cases like the first case I ever worked and help someone who has no one else to turn to.” He answers.

Conri smiles at him before he asks which question he actually answered, “Both.” Orion replies. “The answer -to both questions is the same, Ma hated that someone could get hurt and I know she always hoped I would

stop giving information that could hurt someone.

Conri has to wake Umayza up by the time dinner is ready and this time he gets swatted by her, right in the face I might add. She stares at him with big eyes as she registers what she did and Orion turns away from her to hide his laughter, but I don’t show Conri any mercy as Llaugh out loud.

Kane is counting down in my head and I am about to put up a block when Evander links me, “Any idea how we can get Orion out of the cottage without being blunt about it?” He asks and I have no answer for him. I really don’t know how to answer his question.

How do you ask someone, that recently found his Sister after twenty years, to leave her presence, so she can get marked by her Mates? I have no fucking clue on how to ask that question without it becoming awkward and I can guarantee you it will be awkward asking Orion.

Umayza helps Yonatan and Theron with the dishes, even though both of them object and even Orion tries to convince her to take a seat. “I need to get moving or I might never be able to set another step in my life.” She counters and Orion makes her a compromise, she brings the dishes to the kitchen and he helps cleaning them.

I know it is not what she wanted, but she reluctantly agrees with him and I have to stifle a smile at her sour face. Once she is done she looks a little pale and I am glad Orion made her accept his compromise, I don’t think she would have been able to stay on her feet much longer.

She crawls onto Evander’s lap and she places her head on his chest like she did with me, making her slowly fall asleep again. Within an hour most have left the cottage, but Orion and Yonatan are still busy in the kitchen and I wonder what the hell they are doing in there.

Yonatan is the first to walk out of the kitchen and he raises his hand as if to say goodnight, before he walks out the door. A few moments later Orion walks out of the kitchen and as he walks into the living room he tells us there are snacks in the fridge, before he kisses Umayza on her forehead.

He leaves the cottage without saying anything else and even though I don’t want to I sigh in relief, we don’t have to ask him to spend the night elsewhere. Evander and I just watch her sleep as we wait for midnight to come, the start of the days of the Full Moon and hopefully the start of our lives together.

Umayza

Yade is going berserk in my head and I try to block her out, but she is not allowing me. I get pulled further out of my sleep by her antics and my eyes fly open the moment I smell the scent of coffee mixed with the scent of caramel, a combination I really love.

No one has to tell me where the scent comes from, because I knew it the moment I opened my eyes and I reach out my hands to find my Mates. Something inside me wants to touch my Mates, as if I will get lost if I am not able to feel them.

I don’t have to reach out far as I am on Evander’s lap and Conri is sitting right next to us. “We are right here, Little One.” Evander whispers in my ear and a shiver runs down my spine as his breath touches my skin. I slowly lift my eyes to meet Conri’s blue ones and Yade growls out “Mate.”

Mylo and Kane respond to her by growling “Mate” before I feel Conri’s lips on mine and Evander’s hands start roaming my body. Conri’s tongue traces my bottom lip and I slightly open my lips to grant him access to my mouth, my tongue welcomes/his as his tongue enters my mouth.

Evander has maneuvered his hands under my shirt and they have started their journey towards my breasts, slowly gliding over my ribcage to the underside of my bra. He pushes my bra up with his thumbs and his fingers start circling my nipples./

I break the kiss with Conri to turn my head towards Evander and I welcome his tongue just as I had welcomed Conri’s tongue. I think they can make me come just by kissing me, but I already know there is so much more they can do to my body and after breaking my kiss with Evander I turn back to Conris
