I see Alpha Drew approach as we talk about the daycare, “Alpha Drew, you might understand that for me and my Mates White Crescent Pack is our first choice to settle down with the Squad, but we also understand that that might not be an option.” I say, making sure I don’t tell him Alpha Amarah found her second chance Mate.

“But we were hoping that if we can’t settle there, you might be willing to accept us on to your Pack grounds. I say and I see him think for a moment. “Umayza, if Alpha Amarah refuses then you are more than welcome to settle down here, but I have a feeling I am going to lose two very valued Pack–members.” He answers.

He informs us that Alpha Amarah made it to the finale after making Alpha Claus tap out the match; “Her Mate was really pleased with how she handled that Alpha.” He says, but looks confused when we don’t react surprised and Evander quickly tells him how we found out.

After he leaves us in search of his Mate Evander says, “I wonder when Mom will call with the good news, because it wouldn’t surprise me if the Pack already knows about her and Alpha Theseus,” We talk about why she didn’t inform them immediately and we can’t come up with an answer.

Ma and Asilda in a discussion of their own, Conri told them that White Crescent Pack has a Pup–center and that their Mother is working there. He also told them it wasn’t like what they have planned, that he thought their idea was worth talking about with their Mother and with Alpha Amarah

We are just walking out of the dining room when Evander’s phone starts ringing and he shows me that it is his Mom, “Hello, Mom… Yes, We are aware… No, she called me for some help… Yes, we were able to help… Yes, our assignment is finished… No, we will be home after Alpha Amarah returns from the competition.” He

says.

Conri stands behind me, holding me in his arms as we listen to Evander and I can feel he is getting a bit agitated with his Mother. I grab the phone from his hand as I step out of Conri’s arms, “I am not sure what you are telling Evander, but he is getting a bit agitated.” I say and she asks me who I am.

“The one you plan to kick their asses for the moment they come home.” I say and for a moment it is quiet on the other end of the line. I hear a male’s voice and realize she put me on speaker, so her Mate can join our conversation. I tell them why we had been on assignment together and that I forgave them for screwing

I tell them we want to settle down and where we would like to settle down, that we will be coming to see them real soon. She asks if I will bring my Father with me, I tell her I will bring my entire family and start explaining what transpired in the past few days.

By the time I disconnect the call she has promised me that she will take care of a place to stay for everyone and that she can’t wait to meet me. Their parents told me they had been pissed at their Sons for not handling things better and that they were glad we got the chance to work things out.

We had walked out of the Pack–house as I was talking to their parents and I hadn’t followed the conversation my family was having. Ma and Dad listen as Evander tells them they would like to have Pups as soon possible, but that that will be up to me to decide and when Dad asks why it will be my choice they respond in unison, “She has a gift that can benefit the Council.”

I enjoy listening to my family talk about our future together and I snuggle deeper into Conri’s arms as I caress Evander’s hair, I smile as Yade reminds me that they still don’t have a clue we will need our family sooner than later. I let the warmth and scents of my Mates lull me to sleep as my family continues their conversation.

Chapter 558 Bet

Excited voices pull me from my sleep and I slowly open my eyes to see Evander and Gonrishtim, on a couch with a tablet on Evander’s lap, both have huge smiles on their faces. I can hear they ar, talkin their Mother and she seems to be very excited about something, just like her Sons.

I know I can’t hide the fact that I am awake and I have no intention of hiding it, but I love to just listen to their voices as they talk to their parents. I hear their Father ask when they will wake up sleeping beauty and Conri tells him that I am no longer asleep, “No, wide awake thanks to all of you. What has you all so excited?” I ask.

Evander tosses me a shirt without his parents seeing it and as I pull it over my head both my Mates walk over to the bed, handing me the tablet in the process of sitting down. “Hello, Sweetheart. Did you sleep well?” Their Mother asks and I tell her I wouldn’t know.

Everyone looks at me with confused looks on their faces, “I was asleep, so how would I know.” I answer and their Father chuckles as their Mother shakes her head. I finally get to hear why they are all so excited and I smile as Conri tells me about the match Alpha Amarah fought yesterday.

Their Father tells me to call him Dad or Father, that I was not allowed to call him by his first name and the same went for their Mother. We talk a little bit more about the upcoming match and I remember I came across the name of the Pack Alpha Amarah is up against today. I hope she will kick the Moron’s ass and I don’t care how she does it.

Dad links us to inform us on the arrival of my protection detail and Conri explains to his parents why I needed a protection detail, also he explains why they still are my protection detail. Father tells me he wants to meet them when we arrive at White Crescent Pack, “I would like to know what we can do to help, if that would ever be necessary.” He says.

Ma and Dad are waiting for us at the entrance to the dining room and I can hear excited chatter as we get closer to the room. The tables have been moved into rows from the entrance towards the windows and terrace doors, chairs are placed around the tables facing the Alpha’s table.

But instead of the Alpha’s table I see a huge screen on the wall and there are re–runs of the matches both Alphas fought, but I notice that one fight is not shown. “Goodmorning, in a minute I will start the first match Alpha Amarah fought and it will be on repeat to make sure everyone gets a chance to see it.

Today’s match will be missed by some of our Pack–members, but everyone on border patrol volunteered for the assignment today and I want to thank them for allowing others to witness the match. Refreshments and food will be available all day long, but you get it yourself from the buffet.” Alpha Drew says before he presses a button on a remote.

The screen gets split into two halves and I see a smug looking young male as he stare across the Arena. On the other half it shows two males and a female and I already know who she is. My eyes get clued to the screen that shows her first Mate and I am in stitches at the horrifying look on his face.

Someone is smart enough to pause the match as most of us are rolling in the aisles and once we are all settled down a bit the tape continues. A Pup who is sitting in front of me yells “baby” at the screen and the Pup next to him yells that his four week old Sister can do better, which is probably true from the looks of it.

We all know the outcome of every match, but it is still amazing to see her fight and we all enjoy every second of it. I am not sure if I enjoyed her match against Alpha Crios the most or her match against Alpha Claus, both matches had their own charm to it and I will tell her the moment I get the chance to.

I see Warriors walking in and out as her first match gets repeated over and over again, but it doesn’t L me as I keep seeing new things every time I see her fight. It will take at least one more hour before the match starts and that is thanks to Alpha Claus.
