Next Man, Better Plan novel Chapter 131

Victoria said with a smile, "Stephanie, are you planning to come back to work at Sapphire Group? That's great, we can be colleagues again."

As she spoke, Victoria reached for Stephanie's hand.

Stephanie's eyes grew colder.

She seized the moment and slapped Victoria across the face.

The sudden movement stunned Victoria.

The freshly brewed coffee in her hand spilled everywhere, scalding the back of her hand and making Victoria cry out in pain.

Several people looked over, and seeing a scene unfolding, a crowd quickly gathered.

Victoria's eyes reddened with tears, her expression full of hurt. "Stephanie, what did I do to you? Why did you hit me?"

Serena couldn't stand by and watch. She stepped forward, separating the two. "Why did you lay a hand on Victoria!"

"Why? Don't you two know perfectly well?"

Stephanie shot her a cold glance. "I've already contacted my lawyer. Serena, haven't you received the lawsuit yet?"

Serena froze, a flash of panic crossing her face. "What are you talking about?"

She had, in fact, just received a package, but she hadn't had a chance to open it.

"Spreading rumors to damage my reputation... that's a clear-cut case of defamation, isn't it?" With that, Stephanie presented the evidence.

The registration details from the Twitter backend were linked to a real name, and it was indeed Serena's information.

Serena was stunned. She never expected Stephanie to suddenly get her registration information.

But she gritted her teeth and shot back, "You hired someone to hack my Twitter account? Stephanie, you've violated my privacy!"

Serena had specifically looked into it; this kind of backend data wasn't supposed to be easily accessible.
