But Tobias, being a chatterbox, couldn't help but continue, "Then again, even if they did break up... your grandmother randomly married you off to some woman. You're a married man now. Are you sure Stephanie wouldn't mind that?"

Any woman would probably mind.

That seemed to hit a nerve. Jonathan shot Tobias a cold glare. "Don't you have your own car? What are you doing in mine? Get out."

Tobias was taken aback. "My driver has the day off, and I've been drinking. Jonathan, don't be so heartless. We've been friends for years, what's wrong with catching a ride? Fine, fine, don't look at me like that, I'm getting out..."

The moment Tobias stepped out, the car sped off, leaving him coughing in a cloud of exhaust fumes.

In the backseat, Jonathan made another call to Steven. "Have you dealt with her yet?"

That woman was infuriating. She had tricked his grandmother into this ridiculous marriage and was now living in his house.

Every day she stayed was another day of potential trouble.

Steven replied from the other end, "I've been waiting at your house for a while, but she hasn't come back yet. Don't worry, I'll take care of her as soon as possible."

Jonathan hung up and leaned back, closing his eyes.

The driver, unsure of the destination, asked, "Sir, will you be... staying at a hotel tonight?"

"Yes." There was no way he would stay under the same roof as that manipulative woman.

Once Steven dealt with her, he would have the entire house professionally cleaned.

The bed she slept in would have to be thrown out.
