Oops I Banged the CEO novel Chapter 47

She climbed into the car by herself.

Yvonne was half-asleep in the backseat, drifting in and out of a daze, when her phone buzzed with a call from Grace.

“Yvonne, where are you? Mr. Reed’s disappeared too! I asked Linda and she said you two went off to rest!” Grace had only gone to the kitchen to hurry the food along, and when she got back, both Yvonne and Owen were nowhere to be found.

Her mind couldn’t help but run wild.

“Grace, I had too much to drink,” Yvonne glanced at the man beside her, whose expression was icy and stern, and instinctively shrank her shoulders. “I just called someone to pick me up and take me home.”

“Who came to pick you up?” Grace pressed, clearly worried something had happened.

“Um... just... a good friend. Happened to run into them at the restaurant.”

At the word “friend,” Marico cast a glance at Yvonne, who was nervously licking her lips.

From “Mr. Hamilton” to “friend.” Getting more distant by the second.

“I’m fine, really. You be careful on your way home, okay?” Yvonne added, her tone light and reassuring.

Grace seemed to relax, hearing how casual Yvonne sounded. “Alright, just text me when you get home.”

“Okay.” Yvonne nodded, even though Grace couldn’t see it.

She hung up, set her phone aside, and promptly drifted off to sleep again.

When she woke next, she was in the master bathroom’s tub.

She was naked, submerged in hot water, her whole body wrapped in blissful warmth.

Steam clouded the air. Yvonne rested her arms on the edge of the tub, her delicate face flushed and glowing, looking softer and more alluring than ever.

Marico had already stripped off his shirt and trousers, leaving them in a careless heap. He stepped over the edge and into the bath, his long legs parting the water.

Ripples spread across the surface. The water lapped against her skin, and Yvonne let out a soft, contented sigh.

Then his rough hands, using the excuse of washing her, began to wander, kneading and caressing, setting every nerve alight.

“I just threw up. If you’re not disgusted, then go ahead and try,” Yvonne muttered, her words still thick with the haze of wine, soft and yet obstinate.

Marico was a stickler for cleanliness, and that did the trick. He let her go.

Water sloshed as she climbed out, all curves and bare skin, like a goddess rising from foam. The waves in the tub seemed to paint a living, sensual portrait.

Yvonne, acutely aware of his burning gaze, wrapped herself in a towel and hurried out to the sink to brush her teeth.

Marico lounged in the tub, water swirling around his lean, muscular frame, radiating a potent, masculine energy. He took his time, moving with effortless grace as he listened to the sound of Yvonne brushing her teeth—once, twice, three times. The moment she turned off the tap, he rose from the water.

Yvonne was about to towel off her face and retreat to her room when the door swung open. There he stood, shamelessly bare, water beads rolling down his sun-kissed skin, tracing every defined muscle before disappearing beneath the towel slung low on his hips.

She stared for two seconds, then immediately looked away. “Put some clothes on!”

“Oh? You had no problem touching me when I was dressed. Now that I’m undressed, I thought I’d let you really feel,” Marico teased, stepping forward to catch her as she tried to slip past. He spun her to face the mirror, yanking her towel away in one swift motion.

“Tonight, let’s try something different, hmm?” He nipped her earlobe again, his lips and tongue grazing her most sensitive spot, wet and warm.
