She ate quickly, but it didn't annoy people. Instead, it made them amused. She looked like a cute little squirrel when her cheeks were filled with food and she tried to chew.

"Phew." Allison sighed in relief, feeling the depression in her heart had all vanished. But the bill still had to be paid.

"Handsome guy, I'm leaving first. You can cover this bill. You look like a real gentleman. Goodbye, or rather, hopefully never again." Allison revealed a grin at the corner of her mouth, then picked up her bag and strode off.

Stefan watched Allison's departing back, a non-obvious smile also crawled up his face, and his look resumed its typical cold indifference as he turned away.

On the other hand, Ariana started to worry since she accepted Allison's call. She knew her best friend very well.

Judging from her tone on the phone, she certainly didn’t make a good impression on Stefan. It’s unexpected that Allison, who usually has a good attitude towards handsome guys, would act like this after being introduced to an excellent guy like him.

Answering the call, she put it to her ear, and ventured: "Hello, what's up?"

"You've been bothered about this since this morning," Lambert said indifferently.

Ariana instantly realized he might be referring to Allison and Stefan's meeting.

"Um, speak up. What is the situation?" Ariana indicated that she was ready for the incoming bombardment.

"Stefan says he finds Allison quite unique, thinks highly of her, and hopes for a second date if possible," Lambert stated simply.

"Huh?" Ariana's expression on her face turned surprised.

How on Earth could Stefan find Allison likable in such situations? Ariana had always thought that the angry Allison must have been up to no good, and her way of doing things must have been very much of a tomboy. That woman didn't have the submissiveness and weakness intrinsic to females.

"Is something wrong?" Lambert asked indifferently.

"No, nothing, go ahead with your work, I won’t bother you." Ariana hung up the phone as soon as she had finished speaking.

Lambert stared at the phone that Ariana ended, his eyes became a bit cold.

In the afternoon, Ariana thought about it and felt that though she deemed Stefan nice after meeting him once, it would still be necessary to test the waters before bringing these two together.

Setting aside the interests, Ariana felt that in many aspects, Stefan was indeed much better compared to the philandering scum that was Lambert.

She hesitated for a long time, then figured that perhaps it wouldn't be so bad for Allison to get to know Stefan, even if it didn’t work out.

Having decided, Ariana made a detailed plan and started questioning Lambert about everything related to Stefan as soon as she met him that evening.

"You're really that interested in him?" Lambert raised his eyebrow and asked.

"I am going to introduce my best friend to him, of course, I need to know about his character, family background, and such," Ariana replied outright.

"You just directly called Allison over in the first place." Lambert unceremoniously exposed Ariana's action.

"That's because, who knew he would really fancy Allison, with that temper of hers she must have scared off many men," Ariana reasoned.

Even the school's prince charming, Xavier Hill, was "conquered" by her.

Originally, Ariana just wanted to see if there was any possibility for Stefan to like Allison's character. After all, she thought that a man like him, might not fancy Allison, a straightforward girl who had nothing to do with gentleness.
