Lambert took Ariana's hand and led her to the living room. The room was filled with red roses. In the center of it all was a dining table surrounded by roses and adorned with white candles. To Ariana's surprise, the dishes on the table were all her favorites.

"Surprise!" Lambert suddenly hugged Ariana around the waist and drew her into his arms.

Ariana was stunned by what she saw. She never expected Lambert would call her here just for a candlelit dinner.

"No! This is a fright!" Ariana broke free from Lambert's embrace.

"What's wrong? Don't you like it?" Lambert whispered into her ear.

Ariana just laughed. "No, since you've prepared it, let's have dinner."

With that, she sat down and started to eat.

Seeing this, Lambert sat across from her. However, no matter how he looked at her, she did not seem happy.

The previous incident was still bothering Ariana. She didn't like Lambert's actions. If he didn't like Beverly, he should cut ties cleanly and decisively; if he did, then she could naturally compromise. Why was he wasting effort trying to please her?
