At that moment, a nurse came in to check on Lambert and deliver his meal at Ariana's request. Upon seeing Beverly, she hesitated.

Beverly was slightly startled. As she connected the dots to understand why Lambert had asked her that question earlier, her face suddenly turned pale.

It wasn’t Old Mr. Stone who confided in her, but her aunt, Khloe. Upon hearing about Lambert's injury last night, she rushed over, wanting to be the comforting figure during Lambert's cold war with Ariana. Little did she expect Ariana to be also present.
