Ariana was watching a video tutorial, learning and practicing simultaneously. Surprisingly, she got the hang of it pretty quickly.

She was so engrossed that she lost track of time. Her eyes felt sore from the strain. She rubbed her temples and glanced at the clock hanging on the wall, realizing it was already past ten o'clock, which made her slightly furrow her brows.

She seemed to recall asking Felicia to make a cup of coffee for her at eight. Why hadn’t she prepared it yet even though it was past ten?

She put down the scarf in her hands, yawned, and was about to get up when she noticed Georgia standing in the doorway.

"Mom."

Ariana was taken aback; she subconsciously tried to hide the half-finished scarf behind her.

Georgia had initially come to tell Ariana to go to bed. However, she was surprised to find her knitting a scarf here.

"Weren't you reading? Why..."

She saw the knitting tutorial still playing on Ariana’s mobile phone. How could she not guess what she was up to?

Ariana pursed her lips and retrieved the partially knitted scarf from behind with a sheepish smile, apologizing, “I wanted to make a scarf for Jane.”

Georgia was a bit surprised and emotionally moved as she examined the knitted scarf.

She always knew Ariana and Jane didn't share a very good relationship. Ariana was intelligent and had a pleasant personality, but for some reason, she always bullied Jane.

In the past, Georgia used to think her daughter wasn't as obedient as her niece, and was too immature always fighting over trivial things.

But now, seeing Ariana take the initiative to admit her mistake, Georgia felt greatly relieved.

“Have you been knitting all this time after dinner?” Georgia asked, with a hint of concern in her voice.

Ariana nodded, "I know Jane has put a lot of effort into it, I often see her unable to stay awake."

Hearing Ariana speaking kindly of Jane, Georgia caressed her head and sighed, "Your parents have always wished that you could be closer to your sister. After all, you don't have any siblings. You have Jane, and you can rely on each other."
