Rebirth Revenge Is Everything (Ariana) novel Chapter 450

Meanwhile, on Ariana's side, after Georgia's harsh words and Kiara's confession of her true feelings, Kiara truly stopped returning to the White family.

She practically moved into her school dormitory, rarely coming home even during holidays. On the rare occasions she did return, she only visited the Stone Family residence to see Ariana and her three adorable little nephews, completely ignoring everything else.

For Ariana, as long as Jane didn’t inherit the White family, nothing else concerned her.

But for Kiara—

If she were to actually inherit the White Group, it would be a betrayal to her Sister Ariana.

She would rather die than betray her.

Ariana found it both amusing and exasperating.

But more than anything, she was deeply moved.

So she treated Kiara even better, as if she were her own real sister.

Lately, what weighed most on Ariana’s mind was the situation with Allison. She had no idea how things were progressing—only that Lambert had told her he and Stefan would handle it, insisting she stay out of it. As a result, she was completely in the dark, unsure whether they had managed to teach that Lexi a lesson.

If not, she wouldn’t mind taking matters into her own hands.

Inside the Stone Family residence, Ariana sat lost in thought.

Her two little ones had just started crawling, so her villa was now carpeted from wall to wall to give them plenty of space to play. As for Lucian, his father had whisked him away to study etiquette and two foreign languages.

For the moment, Ariana found herself with some unexpected free time.

Just then, a few knocks sounded at her bedroom door. "Yes?" she responded softly.

The maid quickly replied, "Madam, the gatekeeper called to say there's a young lady asking for you. She claims to be your classmate—a Miss Fanny. Do you know her?"

Fanny?

Ariana was momentarily taken aback, wondering why Fanny would suddenly visit.

Lately, Fanny had rarely been around. Even Ariana had no idea what she'd been occupied with. Their last meeting had been during the twins' hundred-day celebration.

After a brief pause, Ariana nodded. "She's a friend of mine. Tell the gatekeeper to let her in."

"Right away, Madam," the maid replied respectfully before withdrawing.

Ariana waited patiently for about ten minutes. When she estimated Fanny should have arrived, she slipped on her coat, ready to greet her seldom-seen but cherished friend. But just as she stepped out of her bedroom, she spotted Fanny right there in the hallway.

The moment Fanny saw Ariana, her face lit up with excitement. "Ariana!" she called out eagerly, waving her hand.

Ariana couldn't help but laugh. "Fanny," she responded warmly.

Now that Fanny had found her host, there was no need for the maid to guide her further. She bounded up the stairs, enveloping Ariana in a tight hug before pulling back with a bright grin. "Ariana! Long time no see!"

Ariana chuckled. "It certainly has been a while."

Taking Fanny's hand, she gently led her inside. "Come in first," she said, ushering her into the bedroom.

Inside, the twins were babbling cheerfully as they crawled about on the floor.

Fanny stared at her friend with wide, startled eyes.

*How did she read my mind?* she wondered silently.

Deflated, Fanny slumped slightly. After blinking rapidly a few times, she sniffled and said, "It's not a big deal... I really did miss you."

Ariana arched an eyebrow. "Really?"

Fanny straightened up, puffing out her chest. "Of course!" But under Ariana's skeptical, amused gaze, her confidence wavered almost immediately. Clearing her throat, she added, "Okay, fine. There is... one tiny little thing."

Ariana shot her a look that clearly said, *I knew it.*

"Go on," she prompted.

Fanny's expression turned utterly despondent. "My dad and the Castro family have already set a wedding date. My dearest Ariana, it looks like I’m really going to marry Damon."

"Damon?" Ariana didn’t seem surprised. Fanny had mentioned him before, so she’d had time to mentally prepare.

She simply nodded and said, "Damon’s not bad. I had Lambert look into him—whether he’d make a decent husband for you. The results were solid. Plus, the Castro family seems to have officially confirmed him as the next heir. For a former illegitimate child to climb that high? Impressive. He’s clearly got skills. So you don’t have to worry about external threats... though internally, well... there might be some complications."

Fanny let out a dramatic wail.

"I *know*!" she howled. "That’s exactly what I’m worried about! Damon and I are like oil and water—we just don’t mix!" With that, she flung her arms around the two wide-eyed toddlers staring curiously at her and sobbed, "My sweet boys, I’ve failed you! How could I saddle you with a godfather like this?"

Ariana: "..."
