Chapter 444 A Guilty Conscience
Third–Person POV
“Enough, enough!”
Amanda said, wiping her tears. She had conjured an indescribable image in her mind. So Henry was the one on the bottom!
Finished
By the time Alpha Henry was so angry his hair was practically standing on end, Amanda forced herself to stop. She couldn’t laugh! Whether Alpha Henry was on top or on the bottom, he was her provider. She had to hold it in!
She struggled to hold it in, trying to look serious, but her expression only became more bizarre.
“Don’t worry, I’ll take this secret to my grave!”
She covered her mouth, trying desperately to stifle her laughter!
Alpha Henry couldn’t take it anymore. He transformed into a wolf and swatted Amanda away.
Amanda was a beta–level werewolf, so the hit wasn’t a big deal. Instead, she transformed into a wolf too, snatched the car keys in her mouth, and ran off at light speed.
In the dining room, Aubrey was eating breakfast.
Her movements were fast, as if an evil wolf was chasing her. She quickly spread jam on the toast in her hand, ate it, and got ready to run.
She didn’t even dare to meet Adelyn’s curious gaze. Last night… had been truly too wild.
She didn’t know why, but she had suddenly gotten hot–headed yesterday and boldly sat on Alpha Henry to take the initiative. Now that she had calmed down, just thinking about what happened and Alpha Henry’s expression of unfulfilled desire, her face grew redder and redder, her heart feeling like it would pound out of her throat!
Damn it, it must be the attraction between fate mates that made me dizzy!
I absolutely wasn’t lusting after Alpha Henry’s body! Absolutely!
The moment she ran out of the dining room, her peripheral vision caught Alpha Henry’s figure coming down the stairs. She ran even faster.
Seeing Aubrey’s figure disappear, Adelyn looked at her son strangely. “What’s wrong with Aubrey? She seems to be in a real hurry.”

Alpha Henry glanced toward the doorway and couldn’t help but sneer: “A guilty conscience.” After doing it once last night, she just left me hanging and didn’t even untie me. She’s afraid I’ll settle the score later
Adelyn didn’t understand, but she still said disapprovingly, “Henry, your attitude toward Aubrey needs to be better. She–wolves are meant to be pampered, not for you to be fierce with.”
Alpha Henry snorted and said nothing more, but in his mind, he was plotting how to catch Aubrey and properly feast again.
He was quiet, but Adelyn continued: “There’s one more thing I have to remind you. Although you’ve already drunk the potion that can break the sibling contract, you must not have relations with Aubrey before the connection is severed.”
Alpha Henry frowned.
“I’m not disapproving of you two being together. On the contrary, I’d be happy to see Aubrey become your mate. But we must respect the rules.” Adelyn said earnestly. “Especially you, Henry. You are the pack’s alpha. You grew up under the Moon Goddess’s watch. You, more than anyone, must obey the rules.”
Alpha Henry’s brow remained furrowed. He hadn’t heard about this.
“What happens if we don’t obey?” he asked.
“I don’t know.” Adelyn shook her head, her expression turning grave. “No one can guess the mind of a god. Maybe the Moon Goddess thinks you’re a good match and won’t blame you, but it’s also possible she will make you lose everything at some point.”
“Just me? Will it have no effect on her?”
“It will,” Adelyn said. “Whoever initiates bears more of the burden.”
Alpha Henry’s hand, spreading jam, paused slightly. Then he replied, “I understand.” He just didn’t know if last night counted as him initiating, or Aubrey initiating?
