Alpha Henry also went out.

But before leaving, he made the Mountain Pack werewolves stop the ritual and temporarily placed the female werewolf in a hut.

As for the other female werewolves, he would deal with them after he found Aubrey.

“Damn the Mountain Pack, torturing female werewolves like this!” Callen growled inside Alpha Henry’s mind. “Good thing Aubrey escaped!”

Alpha Henry pressed his lips together, not speaking. He didn’t dare imagine what would have happened if Aubrey had been captured.

He transformed into a giant silver–gray wolf, his figure rapidly darting through the mountain forest.

Faster, even faster. I must find her before those bastards catch her!

At this moment, Aubrey was indeed running in a panic. In a daze, she felt as if she had returned to her previous life, constantly running for her life. Faint curses came from behind her. Aubrey pressed her lips tight, sprinting in the heavy rain. The rain was washing away her pheromone scent. If she just pushed a little.harder, she could get away!

The two sides were like in a tug–of–war, racing through the rainy night mountains.

Suddenly, Aubrey’s foot slipped, and she fell into a pit!

In her panic, she grabbed a small tree on the edge, but because of the rain, the soil around the plant was loose. Before she could use it to climb up, that section of earth collapsed, and she fell with it!

As Aubrey tumbled down, a loud roar sounded extremely close to her! It was followed by a continuous rumbling sound, getting closer and closer, as if it were right next to her ear!

Aubrey’s heart kept sinking… A mudslide!
