464 All My Luck for Her

Third–Person POV

The rumbling sound, mixed with the incessant rain, was like a death knell.

Small animals occasionally flashed past him. Alpha Henry stared in the direction of the incident, clearly feeling the mountain shake. He had only one thought: he just hoped Aubrey was not in that direction.

But for some reason, the next second, he turned and subconsciously sprinted toward it.

Perry, who was behind him, also slammed on the brakes, his wolf paws pressing against a tree trunk in front of him before he turned to follow Alpha Henry.

The closer Alpha Henry got to the collapsed area, the faster he found his heart beating.

Just then, he saw two wolves running back from ahead, looking wretched. The pouring rain soaked their wolf faces, revealing panic and some anger.

The wolf’s face twisted in pain, but he couldn’t break free from Alpha Henry’s hold.
