465 She’s Alive
Third–Person POV
Aubrey didn’t know why, but she just felt that Alpha Henry would find her.
So, she didn’t panic. Instead, she curled up quietly in this underground pit of less than two square meters. Even her breathing had to be careful, because the oxygen was limited–very, very limited.
Alpha Henry, who had rushed to the vicinity, discovered that the mudslide in this area had stopped. His heart immediately lifted. If the affected area wasn’t large, Aubrey probably wouldn’t have been killed instantly.
He carefully inspected the ground and found two or three pits that, from a distance, seemed to lead straight down.
Aubrey must be below one of these pits…
He immediately took out his own cell phone, threw it into the first pit without hesitation, and then waited for Perry to arrive and used his phone to make a call.
There was no response for a long time.
Alpha Henry pressed his lips together, waiting quietly for a moment. Just as he saw other team members arriving, Alpha Henry raised his hand, intending to throw Perry’s phone in.
Just then, the phone lit up. The caller ID said “Aubrey.”
He remembered, “Aubrey” was an Omega werewolf Perry had recently brought into the pack. Perry had said he wanted to bring her to meet him a few days ago, but he was busy.
Alpha Henry glanced at Perry, then threw his phone in without hesitation.
Perry: “…” He had a tiny objection, but he absolutely did not dare to speak…
After that team member arrived, Alpha Henry immediately took their phone and called Perry’s phone.
Fortunately, the goddess of luck descended.
After a short while, the screen of the phone he was holding lit up. It was a message from Aubrey-
She was below, she was alive, and she had gotten Perry’s phone!
Oh. Moon Goddess!
Alpha Henry let out a long sigh of relief.
Aubrey did not answer the call, because the one square meter of air could, at most, allow her to breathe for an hour. She couldn’t waste any of it.
She could only send a message: “I’m buried, but before I was, I fell into a natural hole. But I might not be able to last long. Mud and sand are blocking the opening. Air is limited.”

Her words were as calm as ever, but only she knew how much strength it took to type that line… In just ten minutes, her whole body was already frozen stiff. Every breath seemed to sap what little warmth she had left.
She remembered the old werewolves in the pack always saying that everyone must respect nature.
They were right.
In the face of nature, even werewolves were extremely weak.
The phone’s light went out, and the surroundings were pitch black. She quickly turned the phone’s light back on, illuminating the small space.
Before it was blocked, this sloping hole had already taken on a lot of water. She was sitting in the water from the shins down, feeling a bit like she was a corpse…
Because she was sitting, the water soaked the lower half of her body. After her reddened fingertips lit up the phone again, it displayed the time: 8:00.
The air here could probably keep her alive until 9:00. But she was near the mountaintop. For Alpha Henry to find the right tools, get equipment here, and dig to save her… one hour… it seemed impossible….
Aubrey calculated, her heart growing heavier. She thought in a daze, was she going to die here? If she died this time… someone would come for her body, right?
