“You’re sweet, but you still haven’t confessed your feelings to me,” Felicia said, her tone teasing yet serious. “And honestly, I haven’t even decided if I’m going to say yes or not. So why does it matter so much to you who I choose as my future partner?”
Sebastian didn’t hesitate for a moment. “Of course it matters. Come with me—I’ve planned something special for you.”
Before Felicia could respond or even process what he meant, he gently but firmly grabbed her hand and led her out of the room. Their friends trailed behind, curious and eager to witness whatever was about to unfold.
Stepping outside the bar, Felicia’s breath caught in her throat. The entire street was blanketed in rose petals, a soft carpet of reds and pinks. Along the sidewalks, countless bouquets of roses were artfully arranged, their fragrance mingling with the cool night air. The scene was breathtaking.
Just as Felicia was trying to make sense of it all, the sky erupted with fireworks, painting the darkness with bursts of vibrant color. Following the spectacle, a fleet of drones danced gracefully overhead, their lights weaving intricate patterns against the night.
Beneath this dazzling display, Sebastian reached into his coat and pulled out two teddy bears dressed in miniature wedding attire—the groom in a sharp black suit, the bride in a delicate white gown. Clutched in their tiny paws were ring boxes.
With a tender smile, Sebastian opened the box meant for the bride, revealing a delicate pink diamond ring nestled inside. Then, with deliberate care, he dropped to one knee.
“Felicia,” he began, his voice steady but filled with emotion, “will you allow me to love you with a love destined for marriage, a love that will endure all our days? I promise to cherish you now and forever, until my very last breath.”
Felicia’s heart pounded fiercely in her chest. The moment felt surreal, as if time itself had slowed down. Should she say yes? Doubts and hopes tangled inside her.
Suddenly, her friends erupted in cheers from the sidelines. “Say yes! Say yes!”
As she looked around, she realized that their parents, along with Fiona and Steven, were all standing nearby, their faces glowing with warmth and encouragement.
