Cheater
“Karry,” slow wasn’t enough, I needed to run, to flee this hell I’ve stepped in. So I did. I dashed away, staggering down the stairs, bumping midway Into Chapters
BookSpom
God knows what, it hurt for a second before the pain of my soul crying took over.
I began rushing, without an idea where or who was I running towards Ghosts, spirits, visuals, whatever it was of that deceiving person circles me, calling, laughing, mocking
“Karry, slow down.” I heard a fading voice, calling out behind me. I darted faster trying to avoid it.
“KARRY,” the very next second a loud honking echoed in the distance, and I was rapidly hauled back.
“Karry don’t beat yourself for that cheating bastard. I heard Leona exclaim as she hugged me crying, I stood there frigidly.
Why wasn’t I crying? Where were my tears? Why am I not dead yet?
Cheating, Keith, that woman.
Flashes of the same heartbreaking vision I witnessed a while ago hit me again.
My fiance. My Keith
I doubled over, taking support from the wall nearby, coughing as I held my stomach, it twisted in painful knots, bitter thickness erupted and I threw up all over the pipement.

“Bring water Corwin,” Leona exclaims behind me. I stood there hunched over by the street, clutching
stomach, puking my guts out.
Once, there was nothing left to spill, except for my lungs and intestines, I exhaled, leaning my back on the wall. A water bottle stretched in front of me making me look up at my brother, who gathered me into his arm holding me steady.
“Let me help you,” said Leona as she poured some water into my mouth to rinse it.
Corwin intertwined his hands with my trembling one for a better grip, I clutched his hand tighter, another pair of hands holding me, I welcomed the support since my legs felt immobilised.
“I want to go home, Corwin,” I whimpered meekly through the state of shock. Just a few steps and I was falling again, then I was picked up and carried somewhere. I had no idea how long I would have gaped into the hollow darkness surrounding me, but when I blinked we were in front of a broad building.
Glitz Resort
Across the resort, at a good distance, by the beach, banquet tables and altar decorations were being set up. Big, beautifully carved initials KK resting by the passageway of the venue.
I was thinking of booking the Glitz, the view from there is so gorgeous.
It does seem gorgeous, Doll 1 can already imagine you walking down the aisle to me.
“1,” I shuddered to speak slipping out of their protective holds.
Want to, be al–alone for a while, I mumbled stammering avoiding their gaze.
I don’t want pity.
“Karry,” Leo begins.
“Please.” I requested pleadingly, “I won’t do anything stupid,” I assured them, she nodded sympathetically.
“Just let me help you to your room,” she says softly. It was pathetic that I was nearly losing my ability to walk because what would you do when the surface beneath had been shaken by an earthquake?
“I’ll book the tickets,” My brother notified me, still accompanying ine until we reached our suite.
“Karry, what happened?”
“Where is Keith?”
“Why do you look like that?
“Are you okay?”
