She’s Back, and Hell’s Coming with Her novel Chapter 111

“Boss, he… he just walked off like that?”

Seven-Shot shot a scathing look at his clueless companion. “What else were we supposed to do, stop him? Didn’t you see the firepower those guys behind him were packing? Besides, he works for Tiger—he’s not someone we can afford to cross.”

“So… what do we tell Liana?”

“We tell her the goods were handed over to some black market guys. Once the stuff sells, she’ll get her share of the money.”

Agitated, Seven-Shot ran a hand through his hair. The last thing he needed was trouble landing on his own doorstep.

If Liana found out that he’d been outmaneuvered halfway through the job by a bunch of black market thugs… What a humiliation that would be.

His reputation would take a nosedive.

No one would dare come to him for business anymore.

Elsewhere.

Inside Sabrina’s car, she quickly untied the white sack that had been trapping Yvette.

In no time, she cut open the gag, and a small head poked out.

Yvette stared at the strangers before her, wide-eyed with fear.

Terrified, timid, helpless…

Just then, Jocelyn’s car pulled up.

The two vehicles stopped side by side for barely ten seconds.

Jocelyn got out, crossed over, and climbed into Sabrina’s car.

The moment she saw her daughter—

A torrent of emotions crashed over her: heartbreak, fury, helplessness.

She reached out instinctively, wanting to pull her daughter into her arms.

But the sudden movement must have startled Yvette, who instantly let out a piercing scream.

Jocelyn jerked her hand back, voice trembling, “Yvette, it’s okay. I’m your mom. I’m here to take you home. You’re safe now, sweetheart, you’re safe.”

Those monsters. No conscience, no humanity. She would make them pay, every last one of them.

But none of that mattered right now. Calming her daughter, that was all that mattered.

Faye took a deep breath, leaned in close, and whispered gently, “Mommy’s here to take you home.”

She looked numb, as if all life had drained out of her.

Faye’s hands wouldn’t stop trembling, her whole body shaking uncontrollably.

“We need to get home. Now.” Sabrina gripped Faye’s arm before she could completely fall apart, murmuring one word in her ear: “Endure.”

They were still on the road, and Yvette’s mind had been shattered by trauma—this wasn’t something that could be soothed with a few words.

Faye steadied herself, her fists clenched so tightly inside her sleeves that her knuckles went white.

Sabrina slid a little closer to Yvette and gently took her small hand.

She was reminded of her own grim days in that northern border hellhole.

Back then, Yvette had been in her twenties, and maybe it was the endless torment, but she’d stopped fearing strangers altogether.

She remembered Yvette whispering, “Are you Sabrina?”

Her tongue had been cut out—she couldn’t speak, only nod desperately.

In a place like that, running into a familiar face—was it a curse, or a blessing?

Yvette must have known she wouldn’t survive long in the hands of those people, and so, she’d told Sabrina everything…
