She’s Back, and Hell’s Coming with Her novel Chapter 114

Her makeup was nothing like before—gone was the heavy, glamorous look; now, with only a touch of powder and soft lipstick, Faye radiated a gentle, maternal warmth.

As Yvette noticed another person in the bedroom, she instinctively burrowed deeper under the covers, wide-eyed and anxious, peeking nervously at the newcomer.

Faye sat gently on the edge of the bed and patted her daughter’s shoulder. “It’s alright, Yvette. Don’t be scared. This is Sabrina—the one who saved you from those bad people. She’s our friend, someone we owe so much to. I want you to remember her, sweetheart—she’s family now.”

Family.

Sabrina’s beautiful eyes flickered with surprise. She hadn’t expected to hear that word from Faye’s lips.

Family? Me?

Did she really mean it?

But in the end, it didn’t matter.

Sabrina forced a smile for Yvette, though it felt awkward—she’d gone so long without smiling, she barely remembered how. It probably looked terrible.

Yvette slowly poked her head out from under the blanket, her big eyes locked onto Sabrina. After a long pause, she whispered, “Sabrina.”

“Good girl, Yvette.” Sabrina took a few steps closer, her voice gentle.

Children live in a simple world: if you’re kind to them, they trust you.

Within an hour, Yvette was playing happily with Sabrina as if they’d known each other for years.

Sabrina had already arranged for a therapist to begin helping Yvette recover. Healing would take time—there was no rushing it.

When Sabrina was leaving, Faye walked her to the door and asked quietly, “You know who kidnapped Yvette, don’t you?”

Sabrina didn’t hesitate; she nodded. “I do. But you can’t go after her right now.”

Faye grabbed Sabrina’s hand, barely able to contain her excitement. She hadn’t dared hope for answers, but now—Sabrina knew who did it!

“Tell me. Who was it?”

Sabrina glanced back at Yvette, who was busy building blocks, then met Faye’s gaze.

“It was Cyrus. But—”

“He’s actually treated Yvette very well, given her everything she could want. But Yvette’s presence became a problem for Liana.”

“That woman?” Faye’s voice was cold. She’d already guessed where this was going.

It had to be her.

Sabrina nodded. “Yes. Liana kept Yvette locked away without Cyrus’s knowledge. Even now, Cyrus is still pulling strings, trying to find his daughter. So, Faye, you need to promise me—no one can know Yvette is home. Not anyone.”

Faye’s mind was a mess. She tried to piece it together: first Cyrus kidnapped their daughter, then Liana locked her away, then sold her into a nightmare…

“Those two monsters—I’ll make sure they pay for this!”

Sabrina waited until Faye’s anger had burned itself out before continuing quietly, “So, you still want to go after them? Take revenge?”

“What else can I do? Just stand by and watch my enemies get away with it?”

“And what do you have to fight them with?”
