She’s Back, and Hell’s Coming with Her novel Chapter 131

Across the table, the young woman hadn’t even glanced at her cards.

Marshall assumed Sabrina was either too nervous to look, or simply didn’t know how to play—putting on a brave face to hide her inexperience.

While he pondered this, the dealer slid the third card to each player.

Marshall flipped his over. An ace.

Not quite as good as he’d hoped, but still respectable.

He revealed all three cards, laying them open for all to see.

In an instant, the giant screen above the table displayed his hand—two tens and an ace.

Celine, unable to contain her excitement, clapped and cheered, already celebrating Marshall’s win.

But then, something no one expected happened.

Sabrina casually turned over her cards.

The screen flashed her hand: a pair of jacks and an ace.

For one stunned heartbeat, the entire room froze—then exploded in an uproar, as if a bomb had gone off.

Marshall stared at the table, eyes wide in disbelief, muttering, “How… how is that possible?”

She’d actually beaten him?

And by just a single rank!

Celia, familiar with Sabrina’s supposed lack of skill, was floored. Who would have thought this "harmless rookie" had just completely outplayed her opponent?

As she took in Marshall’s stunned expression, Sabrina’s lips curled in a mocking smile.

“I win. Prepare a hundred million dollars. When this is over, I expect to see the funds in my account.”

With that, she waved calmly to the crowd, making no move to leave the stage.

Celine, watching from below, could hardly believe it.

That bitch—how could she be so lucky? She actually beat Marshall!

Everything proceeded smoothly, just as planned.

With a polite, dazzling smile, Celia turned to Sabrina. “Ms. Sutton, would you like to choose your next opponent?”

“Number five,” Sabrina replied coolly.

The spotlight swung to the number five VIP table.

Under the expectant gaze of the crowd, Hector strolled confidently onto the stage, every move relaxed and self-assured.

For Hector, the outcome of this game was already set in stone—at least, in his mind.

As the heir to Glenwood, Hector was well known among the guests. His arrival drew immediate attention.

Everyone knew Hector’s reputation—his skill at cards was second only to the so-called King of Gamblers.

Some VIPs who didn’t know Sabrina were already shaking their heads. The girl may have gotten lucky once, but against someone like Hector, luck alone wouldn’t be enough.

Celia’s voice rang out, “Please welcome our number five VIP, Mr. Watson, to the table.” She remembered Hector well.
