She’s Back, and Hell’s Coming with Her novel Chapter 195

Liana clutched the man’s hand, her gaze fixed on him, a low, delighted laugh slipping from her lips.

“Honey, soon we’ll be together forever. I’ll give you two children—a son and a daughter. Wouldn’t that be perfect?”

Cyrus stared at the woman growing more unhinged by the second, fury burning in his eyes. “Liana, don’t even think about it. I’d rather die than touch you!”

Her face darkened at his words, bloodshot eyes narrowing with rage as she screamed back at him.

“Am I really that worthless to you? Is that it? You think you love her so much? If you really cared, why did you sneak her child away from right under her nose? Pathetic!”

Her manic laughter echoed through the living room, bouncing off the walls.

She glanced down at Cyrus, who was slumped on the floor, then bent to caress his face with cold fingers. “Just wait for me, darling. Once I’m done dealing with them, I’ll come right up.”

With a wave of her hand, two bodyguards grabbed Cyrus on either side and dragged him upstairs.

She wasn’t just going to control Yvette; she’d have Cyrus under her thumb too.

She wanted him to be loyal to her for the rest of his life, and she’d make sure he was the one to end his own daughter’s life.

Only then would she truly feel satisfied.

“Wake them up,” Liana ordered, gesturing at Yvette and Lennox.

Icy water splashed over them, jolting both awake.

Yvette’s eyes widened with terror at the sight of Liana, her body trembling so hard she couldn’t even raise her head.

Lennox recognized her immediately—this was the cruel woman who had hurt Yvette. Their luck couldn’t have been worse.

It felt like they’d been wandering forever, desperate and exhausted.

Finally, they’d spotted a police call box in the distance. But just as they started to cross the street, someone had clamped a cloth over their mouths and noses from behind. In a matter of seconds, they’d blacked out.

Now, seeing Liana here, everything made sense.

Yvette had told him this woman was a lunatic.

When it comes to madmen, you either out-crazy them or take them out in one blow.

Hearing this kid call her “pointless” sent Liana into a rage. She shot up from the couch and raised her hand to slap him.

“What, do you plan to spend your whole life groveling like this?” Lennox said quickly.

The slap never came. Liana’s hand hovered in the air, then slowly dropped to her side.

She collapsed back onto the sofa, feigning indifference. “Fine. Let’s hear it. If you impress me, maybe I’ll let you go. If not, I’ll feed you to the dogs.”

Lennox shivered. Feed him to the dogs?

She really was a monster.

He couldn’t help wondering if Faye and Sabrina knew where they were. Right now, all he could do was stall for time and try to keep Yvette safe.

He met Liana’s gaze, steady and unflinching.

“I could be your son!” Lennox blurted out in his best innocent voice.

Liana nearly laughed out loud at the absurdity. “You? My son? In your dreams.”
